About Me
I am 44 years old and live in North Thatcham. I have two children: Matilda 12 and Jasper 9. I am a qualified teacher and was a secondary school music teacher for 16 years - Head of Department for 15 of those years. I became an Ofsted registered childminder in August 2018.
My Experience
Qualified Teacher Status (PGCE in Music). Head of Music at Secondary Schools for 15 years. I am also a violin, viola and piano teacher and work in primary schools for the Berkshire Music Trust. I have been a childminder since September 2018, looking after children from 9 months old to 5 years old.

'Ivy was with Mandy from 9months old. She was my first baby and as I left her each morning my heart broke a little each time but Mandy made it very easy. She would often send me a picture of Ivy looking happy and relaxed. Taking part in an activity with the other children.
Ivy has always loved a pair of arms and a cuddle and at Mandy’s she got this attention and time too. It became a home away from home for her. Ivy was always relaxed and happy in Mandy’s company’s. Also Ivy adores Mandy's children and even now waves to them when we pass the end of their road. Ivy left Mandy's care because I changed jobs and due to the hours needed someone to come into the house. I would recommend Mandy highly'.

My daughter went to Mandy from 10 months old when I went back to work and she also looked after my son in the school holidays. They both had an amazing time and were excited to see Mandy and the other children every morning making themselves at home.
There was always a range of activities to take part in and always trips out to feed the ducks or go to the library etc.
I often received a photo of their adventures which is always a nice treat when you're stuck at work!
If we hadn't moved away from the area I would definitely still be sending my children to Mandy.
No worries and hassle free childcare.
