Brilliant Childminder

Georgina began looking after our son, Alfie from around 10 months - he is our 1st child and naturally we were quite apprehensive about his 1st time going into a childcare setting. But as soon as we met Georgina, we knew straight away that she was the childminder we were going to go with. She is very warm, relaxed and makes her setting like a 2nd home for the children she looks after.
Unfortunately, we have moved away from the area just recently but by the time Alfie had his last day at Georgina's he was 21 months old and a completely different boy! We were very sad having to take him away from a place he has become so comfortable in and somewhere he enjoyed being 3 times a week. He has now started at a nursery in our new area and we are receiving a lot of comments as to how impressive his development is and there is no doubt he would not be so far along without Georgina.
We have always had a good relationship with Georgina and been able to talk through any issues regarding drop off or pick up times, absences etc. We are hoping to be able to see her when we go back into London at some point, we know Alfie would love to see 'Gina'!

Amazing childminder

My son James has been with Georgina for more than a year now and he is a very happy boy, learning well and having made some friends. I first met Georgina over the phone and she immediately striked me as being a very trustworthy person, I had a feeling of kindness and warmth towards the children during our very first call. Moving forward, James started and I felt confident and very happy about his time with Georgina, his progress and his well-being. I cannot recommend her enough, and I will happily trust any of my children to her.
Thank you very much for all your patience and kindness towards those little children!

Childminder for my now 4 year old

A smaller setting was something I was considering as I believed this was suitable for my daughter. This would allow more one-to-one time and gradually building the my child’s confident level up, when starting a bigger setting e.g Reception. I was very very right about this and it was by far the best decision I made!!!
I was desperately in need of a reliable childminder that I felt at ease with. Instantly I got that feeling with Georgina when I had come across her, we arranged a settling in day for my daughter. She settled in very well, I noticed Georgina’s setting was spacious, wonderful outdoor scenery (garden), full of activities not to also mention how spotless the place was! My daughter began Georgina’s setting from September 2021 up until July 2022.
Myself and Georgina communicated so well with one another. Georgina was ever so understanding and showed huge compassion and love towards my little one. As a parent potty training was a huge fear of mine. I expressed this to Georgina and she helped me achieve this big milestone. I really thought this day would not come! She was ever so helpful with her strategy and I implemented all her advise at home too. This was a magnificent accomplishment that I honestly would not of done without the help of Georgina.
Georgina also has a degree in teaching which meant my daughter never missed out on any academic learning for her age. Everything was beautifully carried out as well as activities organised from the morning till the evening. A very well-structured and a brilliant routine she has for the children.
As my daughter was in Georgina’s setting four times a week (full-time) from the morning up until 16:30pm. Georgina engaged the children with activities such as making colourful fruit icicles, growing vegetables in the garden, water play, painting, paddling pool (for summer activities), attending play groups, going for a walk or to the local park and lots more!
Georgina was able to identify and communicate with me thoroughly, regarding any worries or concerns she may of had. Which I believe is very pivotal, with a childminder and we both had such a lovely professional friendship and we worked ever so well as a team. I can only thank her for being ever so patient and understanding with me. She never made me feel worried or anxious, Georgina can articulate to her parents very good.
Another area Georgina also helped my child with was with her Speech and Language. As well as not being able to form full-length sentences and Georgina realised this was an area my daughter was struggling in. This was something Georgina addressed to me immediately.
With the use of phoenix words, flash cards and different sentence structures/responses being taught to my daughter. I began to witness and hear a huge progression with my daughters English language and use of words and sounds. My daughter was also attending Speech and Language therapy sessions, Georgina also supported me with this. My daughter was able to tell me her age and what her name was. When she had been asked questions such as ‘how old are you?’ and ‘what is your name?’. All of this was down to Georgina’s years of experience as well as the loving, genuineness she shows towards the children. My daughter absolutely adores her till this day even after leaving her setting, as she’s now progressed into Reception. I am ever so grateful in crossing paths with Georgina, she really does deserve all the success in the world. My heart was always at rest when my daughter was with her even when I’d phone to check-in how they was. This certainly won’t be the end!
Without a shadow of a doubt I will most certainly be bringing my daughter during term times, to continue the wonderful development and special bond Georgina’s created with my little one.

Fantastic Childminder

From the beginning when I contacted Georgina - she was so warm and understanding, and put all my fears about childminding to bed.
My son at the time was 2yrs and 5months and I wanted to take him out of the nursery setting.
We spoke on the phone prior and she welcomed me to come and have a face to face meeting with her to discuss any fears or concerns that I had about childminding.

Right from the settling in period Georgina put all my fears aside. She was so kind and nurturing towards my son that his speech developed so quickly.
Her calm and caring approached meant that my son flourished in her care.

One of the many benefits was that she was able to take him on trips and to all the local parks - he would still socialise with other children. And was able to give him a more tailored approach with him at the centre meeting all his needs.

My son stayed with Georgina full until he started school this September and will continue to be looked after by him after school and during the holidays.
I now look at Georgina as part of my family and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a childminder.

I can not thank Georgina enough for all the help and support she has shown myself and my son over the last 2 years! My only regret is that I did not take him out of the nursery setting earlier and put him with her.

Fantastic childminder

Our son has been in Georgina's care for the past 10 months and our experience has been fantastic. Georgina has all the key traits you could hope for in a great childminder: caring, experienced, knowledgeable, organised, and a great communicator. She encouraged our son to come along nicely across a range of skills: walking, feeding himself, talking, etc. She has a very calm demeanour and we, as parents, have learned good techniques from her. The house is well equipped with toys, books, play tents, play kitchen, etc. The children are brought to playgroups (before Covid) or to the park each day to give them some fresh air. We always spend a bit of time at drop-off and pick-up chatting about the day, and we can feel that Georgina is excited about the day and the progress made by the little ones.
