Previously a childminder assistant over in Twickenham and before that a Qualified Secondary School Science Teacher.
We love using British sign language to help with our communication skills and used to attend Tiny Talk Baby/Toddler sign classes.
Both of my children used cloth nappies from birth, however, I am happy to use cloth or disposable nappies on minded children.
We are fans of wooden toys and open ended play. In our garden we have a climbing frame, slide, water table. We love to grow our own fruit and vegetables as well as sunflowers.
We have a small dog called Theo, a tortoise called Sheldon, a bearded dragon called Oscar and a Pony called Arna.
I live near to Kenyngton Manor Primary School so can offer wrap around care to children attending school here.
My Experience
Childminder Assistant in Twickenham for children 2-11 years. Collecting from Chase bridge Primary School.
Student Support Worker at Tolworth Girls' School in Surbiton, Surrey. A pastoral role helping students who were facing different challenges in school.
Science Teacher at Cranford Community College an Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' school. Taught science from year 7 up to A level Biology.
Year Manager at Cranford Community College. A pastoral role with year 11, communicating any concerns with home, working with vulnerable students and monitoring behaviour of the year group.
Volunteer at The Horse Rangers Association in Hampton Court. Teaching children to ride and stable management.
My Qualifications
Qualified Teacher Status.
Paedeatric First Aid including Anaphylaxis and the use of Epipens.

I was so nervous to leave my daughter (10 months old) and return to work part time, but Kirsty really helped ease my concerns. She was patient with me and my partner as we took time deciding who was our preferred childminder and allowed us to meet as often as we needed to feel comfortable. Our daughter has never cried being left at Kirsty’s and always seems very happy to go to her, and the range of activities Kirsty does with her is brilliant - a lovely mix of being outside the house on trips and inside doing crafts and sensory etc. I now view our daughters day at Kirsty’s as a genuinely exciting adventure for her, as opposed to simply just somewhere to leave her when I absolutely have to. I love getting Kirsty’s photos and updates of my daughter throughout the day; they are very detailed and really paint a picture of what she’s been up to - they are lovely to read

I've used Kirsty for childcare on an adhoc basis. My children love spending time with her. My 3 year old is always happy when I say she is being looked after by Kirsty. She provides home from home care and keeps me updated about the fun and educational (you can tell she is a teacher) activities throughout the day. Would highly recommend her and will continue to use her as and when I need childcare help.
