My Summary
About Me
I am an Ofsted registered childminder with a paediatric first aid certificate. My aim is to provide a safe, warm and welcoming home like environment for under fives where children feel confident to be themselves and are happy to learn through play and activities. I will provide various and plentiful opportunities to enable this to happen. My certificate and DBS form is available for you to inspect, I just do not wish to put it on a public site.
I do not do any school pickups/drop-offs and do not do part days so that there is no break up in our day to day plans.
My Experience
I have three grown up children of my own and four grandchildren, so have plenty of experience. I strongly believe in the great outdoors, so children will be kept active with plenty of outdoor activities should the weather permit.
I provide a childminding and early learning service for children from 6 weeks to 5 years, Monday to Friday between 8.00 to 5.30pm. Available 48 weeks per year.
The setting is a comfortable family home with lots of outside space for play. It is situated just off Ombersley Road in Northwick with a nearby nature reserve and fields providing excellent walking and exploring opportunities. Gheluvelt park is nearby giving more options for outdoor learning.

My Qualifications
I have an NCFE CACHE level 3 award in Home Based Childcare and a St Johns Ambulance paediatric first aid certificate.

I can’t give enough stars for Jackie, our daughter has attended since she was 1. I was very anxious about making the right childcare choice for her, but we are so lucky to have found Jackie. We love her and trust her like a family member. I value her opinion and have asked her advice on lots of things like potty training and giving up the dummy and she’s helped us with these milestones, she really cares about each child. She gets the children outside whenever possible either in the garden or for longer walks with a picnic which my daughter loves. She is so creative with craft ideas too, I have some lovely keepsakes now that I never would have thought of doing. I have no idea how she keeps her house so tidy but it’s a very calm space and you can see from the updates throughout the day that the children love it there. They have lovely home cooked dinners and my daughter always eats well there. People comment that our daughter is very polite and we definitely can’t take all the credit, Jackie has helped us raise a lovely confident young person and I can’t thank her enough.

Our son started at Jackie's at 9 months old. I was absolutely dreading it but Jackie made it so easy. She listened to my concerns always. Helped if there was something troubling our son. Was a safe place for our son to go away from home. His confidence and learning with Jackie was incredible and I was sad to move on as Jackie and Neil felt like family. Our little boy still talks about Jackie. I wish I could have taken her to preschool with him! Thank you for everything Jackie!

I cant even begin to explain how amazing Jackie is. My little boy was only about 5 months when he started with her and I was so anxious about leaving him but Jackie made the whole process so easy and stress free! He absolutely loves going and always comes home happy. She stays in contact throughout the day and sends pictures and updates. She does lovely home cooked meals and does a wide variety of activities throughout the day with lots of walks to parks etc. You will not find anyone better she treats all the children like her own with lots of love and cuddles. I am so so happy we found her on this site. I wish I could rate her more stars because she definitely deserves it!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Jackie , her care is absolutely outstanding.
Being a first time mum with anxiety, I found it really hard trusting anyone to look after my son . Working full time I needed someone who my son felt at home with.
When we found Jackie we knew she would be the person to care for him. Reuben took to her instantly, and we could tell he felt at home straight away.
Jackie is so kind , caring , patient and provides a child-centred and safe environment for our son. Jackie provides excellent home cooked , healthy meals which Reuben very much enjoys. Jackie also encourages fluids and promotes healthy eating.
We are so pleased with the progress Reuben has made whilst being in Jackie’s care. He finds the different activities so enjoyable, and has become more outgoing and social which is fantastic!
Jackie’s house is very warm, and welcoming with a variety of fun toys and activities available.
Neil ( jackies husband ) is fantastic, just like one of the children and they all adore him!
I couldn't recommend jackie anymore 😃😃

I will attempt to out into writing how amazing Jackie has been for my son. He has been with her since the age of 3 months and I can honestly say I couldn’t have wished for a more relaxed, home from home environment for him. Lots of cuddles, play times and he developed so I in in his time there, I could not have wished for any more than what Jackie provided. It is a very relaxed, playful environment with lots of outdoor play. Jackie’s husband, Neil was the apple of my sons eye and he would flap with excitement in his presence. I am so very sad to be leaving Jackie and the inky reason being relocation. It will be very hard boots to fill after such a perfect time for myself sons early years. Highly recommended in every way possible.

Jackie has looked after our little girl for nearly 18months now. Our little girl loves going there and is always happy going and when she comes back. They do lots of varied activities in the day and Jackie keeps in touch sending photos and videos throughout the day.
Nothing is ever too much trouble and she treats our daughter with love, kindness and respect. She really is a part of our family and I'm very grateful to have found her. Our little girl has just turned two and talks in fluent sentences, counts to twenty and knows all her colours, animals and alphabet. A complete testimony to Jackie and the undivided attention she gives our little girl and the other children in her care.
We love her and would rate her five stars 1000 times over.

Jackie looks after my little boy,he always goes and comes back very happy each time.Jackie is very friendly and caring and does a great job looking after my little boy. We couldn’t feel anymore at ease leaving him in Jackie’s hands. We know she does a brilliant job!

Jackie is a lovely, warm and friendly childminder. She has taken excellent care of my daughter from the very beggining. With a home from home environment jackie takes care of my daughter brilliantly and I couldn't think of anyone else I would want to look after her.
