Hi! I'm Charlotte and I'm local to St Albans. I currently offer evening childcare/babysitting. Doodle is my username on here as it doesn't have enough characters for my name!
I am friendly, reliable and thoroughly enjoy working with children. In the past, I regularly babysat for over five years and have looked after children between 3-13 years old. I took a break from childcare from 2020 - mid 2024 to focus on other commitments.
Some of my hobbies include art, design, gardening, cycling, walking and reading.
I'm happy to help with any homework, do arts and crafts activities, go outside, listen to your child/ren read, read to them and lots more! I'm passionate about ensuring that children enjoy learning and are able to develop and explore things that they're interested in.
I have a valid UK driving licence, access to a car (for commuting purposes) and a standard DBS check (valid from July 2024). I would be happy to undergo an enhanced DBS check. *Please note that my insurance does not cover use for childcare purposes, it only covers me getting to and from your home.*

My Experience
• 5 years experience (2015-2020) of regular babysitting and some daytime nannying for multiple families with children between the ages of 3 and 13 - references available on request.
Took a break from childcare from 2020 - mid 2024.
My Qualifications
• Full UK driving licence: **please note my insurance does not cover use for childcare purposes, it only covers me getting to and from your home**
• Standard DBS check: valid from July 2024
• Education: First Class BA (Hons), A Level and GCSE
My Availability
• I’m available for regular and occasional babysitting/evening childcare, until 2am latest.
• Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evening availability differs week by week, so please try to get in touch with good notice and hopefully I can help!
• I have another job and also volunteer, so am looking for evening babysitting to fit around this.
• I’m able to be more flexible when given plenty of notice but can often help out on occasions you need childcare last minute!

Depending on what you’re looking for, I’m happy to chat and hopefully come to an agreement that works for us both.
