About Me
Hi
My name is Lesley, I am a registered childminder living in Swanley next to Swanley park, with my husband and two grown up children. My experience with children comes from being part of a large family, having my own children and grandchildren and working within a school environment for twelve years as a teaching assistant and teacher.
I offer a small homely setting where children can experience a calm nurturing environment and can develop through play and stimulating planned activities covering all seven areas of learning. Having a small number of children allows one to one time.
Daily outside activities include visits to the park where children can experience a variety of activities including nature walks, making footprints, picnics, play equipment and taking toys to the park to play with. I also offer trips to soft play centre’s and the library giving children the opportunity to develop social skills with their peers.
I understand it is difficult to leave your children with someone you hardly know and want to make this as easy for everyone as possible. I offer taster sessions where you can visit with your child for a coffee where you can see how your child interacts with me and how settled they become. I also encourage you to text me if you are worried at any time during the day to check in on them.

My Experience
My experience is of raising my own children, and caring for my 12 year old and 3 year old grandchildren. I have also worked as a teaching assistant working with children of all ages and abilities within a school setting and taught resistant Materials for two years.
My Qualifications
I am first aid trained and have undergone all the necessary pre registration courses and have DBS checks for myself and my family as required by ofsted prior to registration. I also have city and guilds for learning support assistant

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
My fees include all meals and snacks while at my setting, unbranded nappies and wipes and outside activities undertaken by me.

I am going to struggle with the correct words of how to describe Lesley and her childminding business
I met Lesley a few years ago, when my LG was 3 months old and my son was 5.
I started a job within the NHS which required long shifts and flexibility.
Lesley is nothing but Caring, attentive, loyal, kind, affectionate, warm and trustworthy.
Lesley cares for children and meets their individual needs perfectly. Lesley creates a warm, fun , interactive and exciting atmosphere within her home.
Lesleys family have become a part of my children's lives, and my little girl dotes on them dearly.
Lesley provides nutritious meals based on the individual children she cares for.
Lesley uses a daily diary to ensure good communication between herself and parents.
I cannot recommend Lesleys services enough, I truly can't.

Perfect childminder! Me and my husband is so pleased and happy to find lesley as our childminder to our 18 months baby boy, she is amazing woman! My child is so happy, content and love her! The development of my son is really great and we are so happy and satisfied with it. We cannot ask for more, she made our life easier specially i work full time and my husband. Thank you lesley, you are amazing! Xx

I have 3 sons ageing from 18years to 19months. Over the years I have used various childminders and I can honestly say my most recent childminder Lesley is perfect for my Little 19mth old rascal and our family. I have recently returned to work after being able to remain home and enjoy being a full time mum and Lesley has helped make this difficult transition smooth, and reassuring. Lesley has gone out of her way to ensure my little one is active, happy and stimulated. She takes the time to give him what he needs to develop healthily and sustain/reach age appropriate targets.
Lesley is very friendly, approachable, helpful, kind and nurturing with him as well as complies with professional boundaries. I would without a doubt recommend Lesley to anyone as her services have been proven to be outstanding. Hardest time for any parent is to leave your most precious procession so the reassurance that he is in very good,professional hands and is happy, is priceless!!
