About Me
Hello, I am an Ofsted registered childminder , with 30 years experience. I am a Childcare Champion Award Winner 2008 and 2010,and 2011 for my work as a Registered Childminder. I am registered to offer Early Years funded placements. I operate a friendly warm and comfortable environment for the children in my care to enjoy, with many varying activities both inside and out in my large outdoor area. I have been married for 35 years and have 2 adult sons who are both in professional positions after completing University degrees. I offer a home from home environment with the children's requirements being very much at the centre of my practice, and offer a happy relaxed learning experience for the little ones who attend. References available from both parents and ex mindee's who remain in contact, one of whom I am currently providing childcare for their child.
My Experience
I have been successfully working as a Registered Childminder for over 28 years, and still thoroughly enjoy helping children achieve ,through fun, the best they possibly can in their early years. I have experience of working with children who have special needs, and feel it is important that they are given the same chances as all other children in my setting. I am able to offer a varied diet for the children in my care, be it in meal or snack form.
My Qualifications
I have completed my NVQ 3 in Children's Learning and Development. I ensure my Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding and Food hygiene certificates are kept up to date, as well choosing to take regular training courses covering a wide range of topics relating to childcare and child development.
My Availability
I am available for work Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm.
Childcare can be provided outside of these hours by prior arrangement.
Full and Part-time vacancies are available.
School runs and Holiday cover are also provided, if i have availability.

Linda has been an absolute rock to us over the last 4 years. She is not just a childminder but a part of the family. Our children never want to leave, and love their time at Linda’s. I’m confident they are getting the best care, education and nutritional home made food and cannot recommend Linda enough.

Linda has been looking after our daughter for the past 8 years since she was several months old and we have had no complaints whatsoever.
When our girl needed help overcoming some issues, Linda was there putting in extra care to help with that.
She has a lovely home and huge garden for the children to have lots of fun playing together. They usually don't want to leave at the end of the day!
