About Me
Deciding who is the best person to look after your little one while you're at work isn't easy. Having gone through the process myself I understand how important it is to find someone that you can trust and feel comfortable about leaving your child with.
My name is Louise and I'm registered childminder in the Bromley Common area. I live with my husband, 9 year old son, 5 year old daughter and a friendly Persian cat. I offer a fun, friendly, welcoming and safe environment with lots of age appropriate activities. My garden is a wonderful space for the children where they can run around and have plenty of fun with many outdoor toys to choose from.
I enjoy taking the children out on varied trips such as Hornimans Museum, Coolings Nature Trail, Christmas Tree Farm, various playgroups and parks.
My Experience
Prior to childminding, I worked as a Learning Support Assistant (Early Years) in a SEN school with children who had complex social, communication and interaction difficulties including Autism. My main role was to support the children’s daily routine including classroom based learning, toilet training, eating skills and general social skills.
I also have newborn/toddler experience with my own children.

Louise was my daughter's first time experience just before she turned 2, so we were a bit anxious with our decision. As soon as we met Louise and her setting we felt she was the right person. Louise has such a nice and warm personality. She's very sweet and caring and wants the children to have a good time. She's honest and reliable, very important qualities, and she made our transition much easier. My daughter's sleep has always been challenging for us, but she managed to get her into a nap routine and achieved things we never did. My daughter's been excited to go to her house from day 1, which is very reassuring. Another thing I love from Louise is how clean and organised is her setting.
We sadly have to leave now, as we're moving to
Spain, but we would like to recommend Louise to everyone looking for a lovely childcare experience :)

My daughter has been going to Louise’s since she turned 1 year old (she’s now 3). She has never once cried or shown any hesitation about going, she absolutely loves going. Louise opens the door every morning with a smile and is so welcoming to my daughter. She always has an activity planned; plenty of arts & crafts, messy play, outdoors play, park etc. Any concerns I have, for example my daughter isn’t the best eater, Louise gives extra attention to this, introducing foods to her I say I struggle with, making sure she has enough healthy options, sneaking in hidden vegetables, making smoothies to make it fun etc. Her communication with me is brilliant, I get regular updates throughout the day which puts my mind at ease. I can’t recommend Louise enough as a childminder. I hope my daughter continues to be looked after by Louise for many years, she provides the happy, warm, kind environment a child thrives in during childhood.

Louise looked after my son when I returned to work and everything about her, from her warm, accommodating and approachable personality ,to her wonderful home environment , was so nurturing and very orientated to being child centred and with evident high standards of care and health & safety considerations present. Louise is kind, warm and fantastic with the children - She has lots of experience in providing stimulating and educational activities that really promote growth and development, and her background and highly specialised skills in special educational needs work really stood out for me. Louise took the time to really help me look at strategies to help me manage my sons sensory needs. Louise took the time to talk through and consult with me, and tailored a programme specifically to meet my sons needs; including personalised reward and behaviour management with aids and resources to support this work - louise was creative and really expert in knowing what my work for my son and they worked with great affect. Louise is calm and very supportive not only to the children but takes a real family centred approach.
