Dear family,
I have been working as a Nanny for seven years in London. I am passionate about child development and enjoy spending time with them, teaching, playing, interacting, being attentive, careful and affectionate. I grew up in a lovely family and I had a wonderful, unforgettable childhood and adolescence surrounded by love, laughter, care and freedom, so the children under my care will have the same.
I speak English, Portuguese, understand Spanish and I am willing to learn French, whose culture i admire. I enjoy studying... which has resulted in a Bachelor Honours degree in Psychology (with some clinical experience). I consider myself mature, responsible, curious, thoughtful, motivated, playful, confident, family oriented, non-judgemental, compassionate, honest, discreet, reserved and open minded for new possibilities. I proudly cultivate healthy habits in life: eat well, move well, sleep well and keep positive. My spare time is usually spent out in the parks appreciating nature during long walks.
Reading, watching movies, listening to music, meditation, playing chess and cards are part of my relaxation time too. I am passionate about travelling and nature.
Professionally, the children's development, education, health and safety is paramount to me. I am focused on achieving their independence, therefore, I offer high standards of 1:1 emotional support, along with care, helping them to overcome personal difficulties, achieve milestones, allowing them to thrive in life. I like to engage with children in many ways according to each one's personality and preferences. Sports, books, games, arts&crafts, music, etc.
I hold some good skills such as cycling, swimming, volleyball, roller skating, stand-up paddling, rowing, dancing, cooking, gardening, chess. Cleanliness, organisation and hygiene are extremely important to me.

Seven years working in the Nanny/ Childminder industry:
1 year for a family looking after a special needs eleven years old boy (2017)
6 months in a Nursery with toddlers from one to three years old (2018)
6 months for a family looking after two sisters of two and a half and four years old (2018/2019)
2 year looking after a eighteen months old boy (2019/2021 worked during lockdown)
10 months caring for a three months old baby boy, six years old boy and a nine years old girl (2021/2022)
2 years (current job - I am on the notice period) looking after/supervising two independent siblings: a 13 years old girl and 12 years old boy.
My Qualifications

My Availability
As soon as i find the right family. I am looking for either live-in or live-out position. Live-in in a separate flat if possible. Live-out if your place is walking distance from mine.
