About Me
I am kind, caring and passionate about childcare, I always want to ensure that babies and children in my care are not only reaching their expected developmental milestones but also having so much fun, learning through a variety of activities and play experiences. I understand parents going to work and leaving their child with someone else to care for them is very hard, which is why I try to give as much reassurance as possible, and I create WhatsApp groups that have the parents in of the child I’m caring for and share photos of their child throughout the time I’m caring for them, I believe this gives great reassurance to parents to know their little one is in safe hands and are happy. I believe working in partnership with parents is also as important as creating a special bond with the babies and children.
I’m a self employed Nanny/babysitter, but also I am a Co-childminder, which means I childmind from another childminders home, I am registered with Ofsted. I’m level 2 and 3 qualified in childcare which I gained through an apprenticeship. I’ve also completed level 4 nursery management.
I have a up to date DBS check, renewed in August 2023, I’m also on the update service. I refreshed my Paediatric first aid course in April 2023 which is now valid for another 3 years.
I am also a mother , I gave birth to my beautiful baby boy in June 2024 and I am loving every minute of motherhood.
I am happy to answer any questions any parents have and I can provide references if parents would like as well.
My Experience
3 years experience working in a day nursery, which included looking after children from 3 months old to 5 years old and supporting them with their own individual needs.
Gained experience being a childminding assistant for over 2 years. Then became a ofsted registered Co-childminder in November 2023.
I’ve got newborn experience from caring for my own baby boy and I have also looked after twins alongside their mother from 3 weeks old, till they were over a year old and
I have grown up with family members who have SEN and also supported children who have SEN.
I have done babysitting for a variety of ages from 3 months old to 11 years old.

Jess is great at looking after my toddler. She follows the routine but also makes sure to fill the day with activities and I can be certain she spends all her time engaging with my child, who is always happy and asks when she will be back. I appreciate the regular updates. She always leaves the house tidy and is very clean. She is reliable and genuinely cares. We are very lucky to have her helping us!

Jess has been looking after our kids for over a year now. She has never been late nor has she let us down. She is really good with kids: she knows how to entertain them, she is very kind, and teaches them good manners. We are very lucky to have found Jess.

Jess is a fantastic childminder. My son has never been left with anyone before and I was a little nervous about leaving him for the first time. As soon as I met jess I knew my son would be in safe hands. My son had the best time with her and hasn't stopped talking about her since. He cannot wait for her to look after him again. I can't recommend her enough, she's fantastic, a great find.

I used Jess for the first time this weekend and will definitely be booking her again! It was the first time we left our son with someone other than family but Jess made us feel really comfortable and kept me updated with messages and pictures throughout the evening! Would absolutely recommend, Jess is lovely.

Jessica is a great nanny, my son absolutely loves her, I am sure she can find a way to each baby. She has a calm manner and always listens to parents concerns, but also knows how to suggest activities or point some observations. I am glad we found her.

Both our boys love Jess. They get so excited when they know she is coming to look after them. We finds it is so easy just to leave Jess to it, to organise feeding them and putting them to bed etc.
Really pleased we found her.

My daughter loves Jess! Jess is a great childminder, she engages well with my daughter who loves having her babysit and gets so excited to see Jess. Jess is a very caring, friendly, engaging and experienced child minder who I would definitely recommend to others.

Jessica is amazing and she is such a life saver. Over the Christmas period my original babysitter could no longer look after my son last minute. Jessica helped me out, even her mum had my son on one day. My son really enjoys his time with Jessica. Couldn’t be happier with such a lovely lady. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy and reliable babysitter in the area.

Jessica is a very mature young lady that is very good with my boys. One of my boys has behaviour difficulties and she was quickly to respond as she has experience with SEN children. (this is one thing that drew me to Jessica) She is very reliable and has excellent communication, nothing seems too difficult for her and puts your needs first. My boys really liked her from the fist time they meet her and thought she was “really cool actually” lol. I recommend Jessica highly to look after your children as she does a fab job. Thank you!!!! Xx
