I am a positive, kind and enthusiastic person with a gentle approach to childcare. I will always advocate for the needs of the children and make sure their voices are heard. I am sensitive but fair. I am a piano teacher and love dance, music, arts and crafts and games. I speak French and a little Spanish, Italian and Portuguese. I love to help little ones see their potential and celebrate their successes. I love involving children in everything I do, including cooking and baking, making decorations, gardening, going shopping and, of course, playing!
My Experience
I am a qualified primary school teacher and have been working with children for 8 years. I have been teaching piano since I was 18 to children as young as 5. I have supported children with different SEND needs in school and in my piano teaching. The parents of the children I care for have always commented on how supportive and empathetic I am and how I have helped their children feel noticed and appreciated.
My Qualifications
BA (Hons) in Primary Initial Teacher Education (First Class).
Enhanced DBS check.
Youth Mental Health First Aider.
My Availability
I am fully booked as of February 2024 but am available to discuss future opportunities.
I would prefer to work part time (either after school into the evening, or during the day) but my hours can be flexible to suit the needs of your family. I play piano for a local choir on Thursday evenings so would not be available at this time.
