About Me
I am a Berkhamsted Ofsted Registered Childminder since 2018. I live with my husband and two teenage children, cat and cockatiel.
I offer a loving, nurturing home from home care for early years and afterschool club at my house with full healthy dinner and fun planned activities. I follow the EYFS and base my curriculum on all 7 areas of learning through play.
I own and run the Breakfast club at a local school from 7:30 till 8:30.
I work Monday to Thursday 8:40am until 6pm from home. This is all year round and I offer term time only. I offer Early Years care during these hours from birth until they start school.
I collect from Victoria, Thomas Coram and Swingate Schools in Berkhamsted.
I am also able to collect from Sunny Side Preschool.
I also offer weekend care on alternate Saturdays for essential workers (Police and NHS).
I have extensive experience with special needs.
As an afterschool Childminder I support the children's learning at school and plan my outings and activities to include and extend their learning.
As an Early Years practitioner I create a termly curriculum that includes all 7 areas of learning and development through play. We go out and about every day no matter what the weather. We attend play groups at least 3 times a week minimum. We also visit the local library every week. At home we plan indoor and outdoor activities. I send daily updates through an online parent portal, so that you as parent feel you are part of your child's day and know exactly what they have enjoyed doing. I have a dedicated play room and good garden space. I offer regular meetings and progress report and include you at every step of their development and learning. I am a national trust member, Whipsnade Zoo Member, Member of Roald Dahl Museum and we visit many local museums where ever possible. I accept funded hours and childcare vouchers.

I have been a mum of two for the last 18 years. My childcare experience include being a Scout helper, a Sunday School teacher, a Midday Supervisor, Preschool Assistant, a Party Host, a Babysitter and a Childminder since 2002.

Level 3 Diploma in Home Based Childcare and Early Years
Diploma in Special needs
Currently Completing a Diploma in Level 3 Early Years Educator

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.50 per hour
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
Afterschool Club at my home is £17.00 with a light dinner
Hourly rate and on Inset days are £7.50 per hour
Babysitting is £12. per hour per family at anytime. Sundays and after midnight £20.00 per hour

Ursula is wonderful to our kids- caring, reliable and always attentive to their needs. She is incredibly popular in our house, kids adore her and so do the adults as she is so lovely and warm and joy to be around. She truly feels a family member and we feel lucky to have her in our lives.

Thank you so much Sidra, you and the family are very special to me. I love working with you and your family as a childminder and at times as a nanny at yours. I always look forward to grandma's cooking and experiencing your unique and diverse culture. Your children are a credit to both of you. Its been a beautiful journey the last 7 years.
Ursula has been looking after my little one since October. She is so accommodating. We met twice before my little one had her first day with her. Ursula is amazing in keeping you updated during the day which really gives you so much reassurance. She’s such a caring and loving person.

Ursula has been my 18 month old sons childminder for the past month now and I am beyond happy with the care she provides. She is open, nurturing and professional. You can see she really cares for the children in her setting. At drop off he beams when he sees her, excited for his day. He enjoys regular trips to play groups and the library which is great for his social development, aswell as learning themes through play at the home setting and exploring nature outside. Can not recommend Ursula highly enough!
