About Me
Hi, my name is Shereen and I run Cherry Orchard Childminding Services. I am a registered childminder (registered by Rutland Early Years) and I meet all Ofsted and Statutory requirements.
I really love working with children and enjoy seeing them grow and develop. I understand that every child is unique and I provide activities based on their individual needs and interests. My aim is to keep all children safe and happy in my care and provide them with fun and stimulating activities throughout the day. I especially enjoy taking children on outings to nearby parks and play groups and have a lovely park 2 minute walk from my house.
I am based in Handsworth Wood and offer a large, clean, spacious environment for children to play, learn and develop. I offer children a range different toys and activities based on Eyfs.
I also offer drop offs and pick ups from Cherry Orchard Primary school and offer wrap around care.
I have a full driving licence and complete DBS check.
My Experience
I have 3 children of my own and have plenty of experience looking after children from a range of different ages. I am extremely confident in dealing with children with allergies and have completed the relevant paediatric first aid course required to become a childminder.
My Qualifications
I have completed the necessary childcare award required to be a childminder as well as a paediatric first aid course.

I am available at short notice.

I'm so glad we arranged a visit to see Mrs N who, from the offset, was extremely pleasant, welcoming, her house very clean and tidy and her approach professional.
As first time parents we felt at ease straight away after hearing Mrs N's overall approach as she has monthly themes for the children and really encourages learning through creativity, play and exploration.
Our 10 month old eats and naps really well with her and he comes home happy and full of new words or achieving new developmental milestones.
Mrs N is flexible and helpful and really cares about our boy who now gets excited when we knock on the front door not just to see Mrs N but also her lovely husband and 3 kids who are equally excited to see our boy! Thank you so much and cannot recommend enough if you are looking for a home away from home for your little one.

Shereen is a friendly and caring person who is looking after my boys like her own. She provides stimulating activities for my boys according to their age range. She keeps me up to date with their daily routine and sends me photos throughout the day. She has supported me in many ways, I.e. getting my boys to eat a variety of healthy food, toilet training, building their confidence and language skills accordingly. I cannot praise her enough. Shereen has been more than happy to accommodate my requests and always giving me the best advise and reassurance. My boys are very happy and always like to play with her children. I am very happy to know that they are safe whilst I am at work.
