Super nanny & part of the family

I honestly don’t know what we would’ve done without Nicole. She started working with us when I was very pregnant to help us out with our 18 month old two days a week and immediately bonded with him. Archie adores Nicole. They have so much fun together. She takes him on special adventures, to toddler classes and to fun playgrounds as well as playing at home. Her help around the house has been invaluable whilst I have been pregnant/dealing with a newborn. Folding endless mountains of laundry, ironing, throwing tennis balls in the garden for our dog, batch cooking meals for Archie for the freezer are some of the wonderful things Nicole does whilst Archie naps and it has made battling the early days of having two little boys SO much easier. Nicole has become a part of our family and she is so treasured by all of us.

Brilliant with my 7 month old baby!

Nicole has been looking after my 7 month-old daughter one morning a week to give me a bit of a break and she has been absolutely wonderful. I thought that we would spend the first morning all together while Nicole and my daughter got to know each other but after half an hour, my little one was happy to go off for a walk with Nicole. Nicole is so lovely to have around the house, cheerful and calm, and when my daughter goes for a nap she always does a big pile of ironing for me, which is a lifesaver. I can't recommend Nicole highly enough, I know that my daughter is safe and happy with her.

The Best Nanny We Could Have Wished For

Nicole has been taking care of my 3 children for the last 18 months and I can honestly say, she is wonderful. For most of the time she has had my (now) 5 year old and 2 year old, with my teenager hanging around in the holidays. My little ones were only 10 months and 3 years when Nicole started and we couldn't have wished for anyone better to be part of our family during this time. She gives them her undivided attention, encourages them to do so many things and obviously cares about them hugely. Consequently, they all adore her, as does our dog, who she has also taken excellent care of. Additionally Nicole is a huge help around the house, seeing things when they need doing, without being prompted, which is just what you need as a busy working mum. I can't recommend her enough.

Brilliant Nanny!

Nicole has been looking after my 21 month daughter since she was 5 months. Her kind, caring and compassionate manner are just a few of the reasons my daughter absolutely adores her, and loves the time she spends with Nicole. She has always been extremely flexible, which has been particularly important to us, given the varied working hours for myself and my husband, and will readily work around us and accomodate our last minute changes.

Nicole regularly takes my daughter to a variety of fun filled different activities, including local toddler play sessions, parks, walks in the countryside and spending time with animals. In addition to external activities, they also spend time at home playing, looking at books and general arts and crafts, all of which my daughter loves and are further reasons for their close bond.

In addition, Nicole is also a fabulous cook and regularly makes batches of food for our freezer. She has cooked some delicious meals for my daughter and always makes an effort to create age appropriate food, modifying taste and texture accordingly.

At times Nicole has also helped look after my 4 year old daughter when a situation has arisen, and just like her sister, also loves spending time with Nicole (and her lovely son!). We also regularly use Nicole to babysit in the evenings, as we have complete confidence Nicole can deal with any situation that may arise.

I wouldn't hestitate to recommend Nicole and her childcare services, she's been an invaluable extension to our family and I couldn't imagine our life without her!

First class Nanny!

Nicole is a wonderful Nanny. She is everything we want and need in someone who takes care of our children. She is responsible, kind, compassionate and fun. She is also very outdoorsy which really suits our active boys and they are always out on trips and adventures together. I have no doubt that she is able to deal with any situation that arises and have peace of mind when our boys are in her care. Our older son has additional behavioural and learning difficulties for which Nicole has only ever been thoughtful and tactful, getting to know him at his pace and dealing with him beautifully. They have forged a solid relationship in which he feels safe, secure and has room to be himself. In the past few months, we have had to call on Nicole for additional hours and evening babysitting. She is always happy and flexible to accommodate our needs. We could not recommend Nicole highly enough!

Part time nanny for 3 children, since Sept 2016

Nicole has worked with us as our nanny since September 2016. We have three children (boy, girl, boy) who are currently 13, 11 and 8. She has brought supreme organisational skills, a wonderfully proactive mindset and a great sense of empathy to looking after our family.

Nicole has a great talent for setting plans and carrying them through. She is extremely flexible in how she responds to differing requirements from week to week; she is a consummate professional in how she engages; and she is always incredibly responsive.

Nicole has also been very supportive of our friends, repaying ‘favours’ and looking after additional children whenever asked, and indeed often offering herself when she sees a need. In her work with us she has interacted closely with many other friends and families who are all very complimentary about her.

Nicole always has good ideas of what will engage the children and organises accordingly. She is keen to find new places and build days around fun activities, driving them around Sussex as necessary.

Nicole has developed a really good understanding of the children, and helped them to develop. She was assiduous in teaching and coaching them through various academic assignments; she is making a real difference to one of our children’s speech and she has commanded the respect of the eldest one.

We are very pleased that as our children are growing up, Nicole is continuing to work with us during the school holidays.

Sole charge nanny, flexible, proactive & engaging.

Nicole has been working for around 30-50 hrs/month for about four months (to Oct 2016).

During these times she has had sole charge over my 7yo son, & 4yo daughter. She cooks meals for them, cleans up after herself (& sometimes us!), in the kitchen, and preps the occasional family meal. She takes them out and about in her own car, and generally seems to keep them engaged in their 'work'/play.

As our children don't go to school, she is naturally involved in their home education, supporting their self-set activities/projects. She brings new ideas of her own whilst happily integrating my/the children’s instructions/requests. As a trained primary teacher, she takes all this in her stride. We have found her to be flexible, adaptable, reliable, proactive and energetic.
