My Requirements

My work sometimes means I need to take overnight trips away and having someone who can sometimes do school pick up/drop off plus staying with him until my parents can take over is important. My electric wheelchair is heavy but folds up small, so you will need to be happy loading it in your car boot (only the very smallest cars won't fit it, we taxi regularly) and either lifting it in your boot or bringing my equally small portable wheelchair lift with you. Safety checks and first aid training is a must for applicants, experience can stretch to having your own children if interviews go well. Experience with autistic children would be a big plus but isn't essential as long as you're open minded and adaptable to his needs. I've ticked all the availability boxes as when you'll be needed will be determined weekly, usually a week or so in advance, but you won't be needed for all these hours every week by a long shot
