About Me
Hi, my name is Nicola Chenery.
I am an ofsted registered childminder based in Eltham/Chislehurst borders. I work from my home where I live with my husband and three children. I have dedicated play areas with a large range of resources which children have access to. The main area opens out to a large garden which has different play areas and a growing area where the kids get involved in growing fruit and vegetables.
I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and love being creative and learning through play. We go out most days visiting woods, parks, farms, playgroups etc. I also have memberships to English heritage and Coolings nature trail which we enjoy visiting.
All my fees include food and drink. I provide breakfast, lunch and dinner plus snacks throughout the day. All home cooked, healthy meals.
I cover Montbelle School for both school and nursery drop off and pick ups.
My Experience
I have been a childminder for over 5 years now covering a range of ages from young babies to older school children. Having previously worked in office roles in the financial sector I decided to pursue something I feel more passionate about. I loved watching my own children learn and develop and I was keen to extend this passion and help others to grow. I am continually expanding my knowledge in the sector by doing a variety of training courses.
