Hiya, I'm Lauryn. I am a kind and caring person who loves working with children and have been within this sector for 9 years. Most recently I have worked at PGL for the last 2 and a bit years delivering activities such as zip wire and archery to those of various ages (starting at 8 years old). I have had experience working with babies, toddlers and primary school children; as well as working on the NCS programme with 15-17 year olds during the summer seasons of university. I hold a bachelors degree in Special educational Needs and inclusion studies from Canterbury Christ Church University and have also worked at a special needs college. I have also carried out the odd babysitting for family friends. I am currently looking for a temporary babysitting role over the next month or so and can help with duties such as homework help, household jobs, activities and putting the kids to bed. My Experience
Most recently I have worked at an outdoor activity centre (PGL) as an activity instructor leading activities such as orienteering, problem solving, survival skills, archery etc to groups of 15 children aged between 8 and 16. I have a degree in SEN and have worked in a special needs college for a year supporting children with autism in relation to education and helping to achieve their full potential in regards to everyday life skills, swimming and other physical development, art and food tech. At college, I received a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Children's Play, Learning and Development. During that time, I worked at 3 placements which included working with babies, in a nursery and primary school so I have experience working with a range of children. As well as this, I have done babysitting for family friends on numerous occasions.
