About Me
Hello my name is Sharon Jarps I am 49 years old and i have been an Ofsted registered childminder currently graded Good now for 23 years. I am married and have 2 boys, 1 has left home for a career in the RAF, while Sam is still living at home with us.I live in the Beckfields area of Ingleby Barwick and offer a warm and loving environment for your child, I love spending my days with the children watching them grow and learning new things each day.
I absolutely love my job as a childminder, i am dedicated, very reliable, honest and trustworthy.
When your children/child are in my care they will be safe and happy and cared for just like i would my own children.
I have my own car so we are out and about visiting local parks, farms, playgroups through the week so the children can interact with other children.
I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) as do all nurseries and schools.
My Experience
Bringing my own two children up aged 23 and 19 which i think is enough experience, but also caring for the children i have looked after for the past 23 years also is very rewarding.
My Qualifications
Ofsted Inspection Sept 18 - GOOD
Completed a level 3 Childminding course
Child Protection Training & Safeguarding children's training , I regular attend courses to update the EYFS
Pediatric First Aid
Safeguarding course
Prevent Duty training
Food Hygeine
Registered with ICO
Public Liability Insurance held with Pacey
I hold references from parents these are available to view on request.
My Availability
I am available Monday-Friday 7.30-5.30
I offer Full time, Part Time
Before and After school cover from Whinstone Primary School.
I can also offer 2 and 3/4 year funding places as well.

- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
Full day up to 9.5 hours £35
Half day up to 4.5 hours £24.00
Before and after school prices £5.00 per hour
Hours over these time can be arranges with the two parties.
