About Me
I am Ellie. I love spending time with children, most of my jobs have been within Youth Work. I have lead youth groups and sports clubs for children aged 7-11. I have done lots of nannying and babysitting over the years for families with children 2-15 years of age! I also regularly look after my godson who is 3 years old and my step daughter who 4 and a half years old. I love motivating children to play and learn including activities such as sports, being creative with arts and crafts as well as helping with homework and any other support needed. I am a confident, outgoing, bubbly person with a can-do attitude. I have good interpersonal skills; I am proactive; I am easy to talk to; I am approachable to people of all ages. I am an enthusiastic, happy, determined and caring person. I am trustworthy, honest and people can rely on me. I have excellent organisational skills and pay attention to details. I enjoy working with children, delivering activities and building good relationships.
My Experience
I have 14 years experience of babysitting for various families, 6 of those years providing a nanny service for a local family while single mum worked abroad for weeks at a time as well as nannying got 2 other families a few years ago. I have volunteered in Early Years settings for the past year at weekly sessions working closely with both children and parents.
My Qualifications
I have an enhanced DBS check and training in First Aid and Safeguarding (child protection). Other training I have done includes; Perinatal and infant mental health, Sexual health and relationships, Encouraging Innovation, Early help tool, Equality and Diversity Awareness, Conflict Resolution, Emotional Intelligence, Education/ Employment and EET, Positive Behavior Management and Creative development (Real Coaching). I passed all my GCSE/ A Levels with A* - C grades. I graduated from The University Of Birmingham with a BA honours in Business and Events management. I have an enhanced DBS check. I also have a qualification in Boxercise and Exercise to music as well as completing a graduate scheme called Worthwhile.
My Availability
I am looking for weekly nannying (before school drop offs and after school collections) as well as general babysitting, I have a full time job at a local charity (the aim of my role at the charity is to get children active) but I have very flexible working hours so can work around things! I can do occasional overnight stays and weekends but can't commit to every overnight and weekend.

I currently charge £16.00 for the families I babysit and nanny for. I also help with house hold tasks as well as cooking - prepared to discuss price!
