My Summary

My Experience

I have the experience from my own two children. I have been a childminder since June 2019 and am thoroughly enjoying it, and so are my own children.

We like to spend time out in the garden playing and exploring, going for walks, jumping in puddles, visits to the library and toddler groups and activities that suit the ages of the children in our care. We've also recently started going to the country park every week for a "forest school" type experience, which the children are thoroughly enjoying! We help the children become school ready and follow their interests and needs.

We focus on the curiosity approach to learning, which is about creating invitations to play with natural resources and loose parts to let children use their imagination and be curious. We also take the hygge approach, which is all about being cosy, slowing down and taking in the moment.

My Qualifications

I have a level 3 preparing to work in home-based childcare award with pacey.
I've done a lot of short courses as well, including;

My Availability

I work Monday- Friday, 7.30am until 5.30pm. I work in the school holidays but not bank holidays.

My rate is £6.15 an hour.
