About Me
My name is Janka Rychter. I live in the Kensal Green area for last 12 years, with my three lovely children; Olivia, Emma and Max; aged 9, 7 and 5 years old and my husband Johny. I am from Slovakia originally and I also studied and lived in Germany for 10 years. We speak at home English as a family but I also encourage my children to speak Slovak, Polish and German as well as to explore other languages and cultures.
My Experience
The best experience I made trough my three children and my ‘nanny-time’, where I learned patience, understanding, accepting and respecting growing and developing and helping little personalities. I am very happy and confident looking after young babies. I also care for toddlers and pre-schoolers.
My Qualifications
I have been Ofsted registered since July 2018.
I have a current paediatric first aid certificate. Both of this certificates can be found on display in my setting.
I am always seeking to develop my skills and further my knowledge.
I am fully insured and a member of the Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years.

If you are looking for the highest quality in childminding services, please look no further than Janka Rychter! Janka cared for my son from when he was just 10 months old to nearly 3 years. I can honestly say in that 2-year period she never EVER once let us down. She is consistent, passionate, attentive, creative, intuitive and meticulous in her care for children. Even through the 2020 pandemic she remained as reliable and flexible as ever. As a first time Mum, trusting someone outside of your own family with the care of your baby is tough, but Janka made this so easy from the outset. By the end of our journey with her we felt as though she was family! Her communication is fantastic, she sends daily updates on how your baby/child is doing, and always picks up on anything that is going on for them (before you have even told her). He always came home a very happy and content baby. Her home and her gorgeous family are so welcoming. We felt that her 3 kids were a big part of our son’s development and growth, he absolutely adored them all. If we ever have another baby, I know without hesitation where I will be sending them! I cannot recommend Janka at ‘Bright Little Butterflies’ enough!

Janka started looking after my son when he was 7 months old. She was meticulous in preparing to look after him and interviewed me fully to ascertain how best to make him feel comfortable, at home and able to continue with his routine. As such, he was very happy from the outset as Janka adapted her day around his feeding and sleeping times and as a result, he settled with her very quickly. Janka is a very joyful, upbeat, creative, kind person. As such, her home is a wonderful place - it oozes happiness, fun and new ideas! My son often came home with artwork he had created and Janka was great at updating me throughout the day and providing photographs of what he had been up to. There are lots of different toys at her house and the space is well-utilised so that children can move between activities. Janka plans well also and would often theme each day/week. She works alongside bringing up her own 3 fantastic schoo;-aged children - I always saw this as a bonus because my son was able to play with her children and learn and grow alongside them. Leaving a baby in childcare when they are so young is not an easy thing to do, but I can wholeheartedly say that there is no-one I would rather leave my son with than Janka. She is incredible at what she does and I cannot recommend her highly enough!
