I have been a childcare practitioner for 20 years and a very proud wife and a very proud mother to two boys.
Working in partnership with parents is important to me and I really focus on creating a superb home from home experience for each and every child- helping them to feel comfortable first and foremost which enables them to learn and develop and grow and work towards school readiness. Following the EYFS
I’m happy to provide term time places without a retainer and cater for shifts (contact for more info)
Currently accept 9 month old, 2,3 and 4 year old funding

My Experience
Children are amazing and I love learning from them.
I’ve nannied, assisted teaching, nursery nursed, supported additional needs and I have fully enjoyed all of them roles. To add to that I am a mum of two which brings invaluable experience in itself.

Donna and her assistant Kaitlyn are a great team & my daughter loves them both so much that we are going full time. My daughter is 2 1/2 and has learnt so much since being part time that I feel confident I can finally go back to full time work. I trust Donna and I am happy with everything! Highly recommend.

Donna is an amazing childminder, my daughter started going to her when she was 10 months old and has loved it ever since. She is always excited to go in and has the best time there. She has developed amazingly in her time with Donna, with her speech and how she plays. Donna uses different ways to develop children’s skills by playing and doing craft activities. She is a very nurturing childminder and I know that my daughter is being thoroughly cared for. Donna is very attentive and I know my daughter gets all the attention she desires. She has a great space with lots of toys and activities and a great outside space for the children.

My two girls have been looked after by Donna for over a year now. She has been very flexible an always helped me out last minute if plans change. My daughters absolutely love her and she provides a very fun, educational, & family setting for the kids. My eldest also has type 1 diabetes and Donna has learnt & managed how to support her with her additional needs at times. I would not hesitate in recommending Donna, she is an asset to my children’s lives.

I could have not ask for a better person to take care of my little girl. My little girl has been going to Donna for the last year and half. Donna has thought her so much and she is very happy to wake up and go there, every day there is plenty of learning activities indoor and outdoors. We receive videos, pictures and updated trough out the day. Donna has been more than a child minder to me and my family she has been like a family to us. Always there to help and support when needed for my little princess. I can’t thank you enough Donna

Donna has been caring for my LO since he was 9 months old and she is everything I had hoped to find in a childminder, she has been instrumental in my sons development with a collaborative approach ensuring he is hitting his developmental milestones.
She is extremely mly professional and ensures she provides regular updates on how my sons day is going/has gone.
She has a loving & kind manner with my son which always makes the daily drop offs easy and this has been the case since day one. As a mother there's nothing more daunting than leaving your child with someone you barely know but Donna made the process so easy and I'm glad I chose her.
I definitely would very much recommend Donna if you are looking for your child to be in a caring fun and safe environment.

Both of my children have been cared for by Donna either at her lovely childminding setting, Tidibears, or via the babysitting service she offers.
My son very much enjoys the playroom, exploring all there is to do and play with. My daughter loves all the activities Donna sets out for them to do and a long chat about absolutely anything and always comes away having learnt something new.
Cannot recommend highly enough, one of the most caring and kind people I have ever met! Donna welcomes the children in to her home as if they are family and fills you with confidence knowing they are in her care.

My toddler had been going to Donna since Sept ‘19 and had grown her confidence as a result. She only goes one morning a week, but she enjoys it so much. Donna is amazing and always has fun and educational activities planned for the children and you can tell they all love being there. Sometimes my toddler doesn’t want to leave it’s so sweet.
I couldn’t recommend Donna enough. She’s professional, caring, attentive, her fees are so competitive and I look forward to sending my toddler to her right up until nursery age. The setting she provides is amazing and I know it’ll benefit my child into the transition to nursery when the time comes.

My daughter goes to donnas on a Tuesday Thursday and Friday and absolutely loves it prior to this she was in a nursery setting and I really struggled settling her day in day out we had problems tears the lot I moved her to donnas childcare and she absolutely loves it always asks to go it’s a great set up clean friendly and lots of happy children. Donna is a lovely lady, I love that she sends me photos of my daughter through out the day so I can see what she’s upto, always updating me and keeping me posted! I have not a bad word to say I’m a very happy mum that my daughter is so happy. Thankyou so much Donna ❤️
