About Me
Dear families,
I am a mature qualified NNEB (National Nursery Examining Board) with over 25 yrs experience of working with children from birth upwards. I have my Paediatric First Aid (Sept 2023) and Enhanced DBS. I am an Ofsted registered Childminder and I am also registered with Ofsted as a Homecarer/Nanny hence, I could work in either capacity.
I'm a non smoker, home owner and car owner with business insurance. I live in Milnrow near Rochdale with my little girl who was born in 2010. I have no pets.
I pride myself on being patient with lots of energy, I like to give full commitment in the tasks/roles I take on. I have a very caring and nurturing persona and I totally understand how difficult it can be to leave your children, therefore, I try and give as much support to both the parents and child/children to try and make the whole situation as pain free as possible. My role is to ensure that I encourage, develop and meet the educational, physical, social and emotional needs of all the children in my care, I offer a home from home cosy yet stimulating environment, I will be following the EYFS. I don’t work to my full allowing capacity of my registration so I can give your little one lots of individual one to one care and attention which also means I can keep to your child’s own routine as much as possible. I like to take children to appropriate age related outings from toddler groups, parks, soft play, farms, walks and picnics. I believe in children gaining experience of varying situations and environments.
I am available for part time hours between Monday to Sunday for Childminding and Nannying. I am happy to work on a permanent/temporary/occasional/ad hoc basis, w-e work and overnight work very welcome. I can also be flexible if you require different days each week.
My only commitment at present is my daughter whom attends the local high school. I am registered to care for your children in my home or your home. Fess are negotiable depending on the days, times and where you prefer me to care for your child/ren etc..I could also offer pick up and drop off depending on the hours you require.

My Experience
I have worked as a sole charge private Nanny since leaving college in 1986! These positions were with babies as young as Three weeks old and up to Twelve years old, some of my roles required me to do regular overnight care.
I have experience with emergency situations (be it only a few though :) ) these being: Febrile Convulsions, Head Injuries and Apnea Attacks.
I also have experience with Severe Colic and Reflux.
I have extensive knowledge and experience of the Autistic Spectrum Condition, Sensory Processing Disorder along with Learning Disabilities and Development Delay.

My Availability
I am available to work on a Permanent/Temporary/Occasional/Ad hoc basis.

I am also available for Housekeeping/PA roles ie; Shopping, organising and general errands (unfortunately, I'm not available for domestic/cleaning duties I'm afraid) but please do feel free to enquire.
