About Me

I am a passionate childcare provider with a keen interest in providing care to children of different ages and from diverse backgrounds.

I am well presented, hardworking and a confident individual. I am dedicated to creating a stimulating, encouraging and safe atmosphere for each child's individual needs.
I have 8 year’s experience working with children in England and a level 3 qualification in child care. My Ofsted suitability and completed First Aid and Safeguarding training means I am trained and well able to be in sole charge of the children. I have developed strong skills in supporting young children from Newborn's-10 years old.

I am genuinely passionate about providing the best care possible, I ensure to encourage and support children's education and also their play experiences. I am a capable and patient child care provider who also has a good sense of humour, over the years I have created a safe and secure environment for children to develop and learn in.

Childminder Assistant

I am currently employed at a local childminder setting, alongside my colleagues I am responsible for the care and education of children aged 2-11. My responsibilities include observing and assessing children’s progress and development, using the information to inform planning set individual targets.
Key responsibilities:

-Plan, deliver and evaluate a developmentally appropriate curriculum in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
-Developing and implementing engaging activities to enhance children's physical, mental, and social development.
-Build positive relationships with parents, providing regular feedback on children’s progress and involving them in their child’s learning journey.
-Ensure the setting is a safe and healthy environment, implementing safeguarding policies and procedures and promoting good hygiene practises.
-Work collaboratively with colleagues, supporting and sharing best practise, and contributing to the ongoing development of the settings curriculum and policies.

Full time Nanny role
January 2018- May 2021

Singlehandedly looking after 3 children within the assigned house by supporting them throughout the day and creating a positive stress free environment, reporting to the parents.

Key responsibilities:

- Preparing children for the day which includes feeding them breakfast, getting them dressed, packing snacks and lunches and taking them to school.
-Playing games, sports and other fun and educational activities to entertain the children.
- Preparing bottles for the younger child and nappy changes.
- Performing light house keeping duties such as the laundry, providing pet care, organising the children's wardrobes and running errands in order to support the daily routines of the family.
-Picking the older children up from school, assisting them with homework, bathing the children and getting them ready for bed.
-Helping the children to clean their rooms and keeping the children's play, bedroom and general household areas clean and tidy.
-Being a good role model to the children by setting a good example.

Providing respite care for children with varying disabilities.
December 2016 - January 2018

A weekend position in which I provided support, guidance and care for individuals and families in need. Planning and assisting educational, fun and stimulating days out for children with varying disabilities.

-Working in partnership with parents, carers and guardians to promote the welfare and education of young children
-Maintaining a safe and hazard-free environment.
-Organising individual and group activities, sports, games and trips for young children.
