My Summary
About Me
Hi, my name is Ellice. I am a recent Primary Years Education graduate (2:1). Prior to this I gained my CACHE Level 3 Early Years Childcare (A). People often comment on my calm, caring and patient nature which I find is a valuable asset when working with children. I am self-motivated and dedicated to continuous development. I thrive and relish any new challenge and am an effective communicator; someone who would be a valuable asset to any family. Loyalty and flexibility are key requirements that I understand would be vital in a successful nannying position. I am committed to building strong and positive relationships with children and parents in order to provide a calm, caring and secure foundation in addition to a stimulating environment for the children.
My Experience
After completing my childcare qualification in 2014 I commenced a gap year job at First Steps Nursery, Shepton Mallet before starting University and returned regularly to work there in the holidays. I am in my element when working with children of any age and feel my experience has equipped me to be able to care effectively for children of any age.
I have always known that I would follow a career involving children and have enjoyed the various work and volunteering positions I have engaged in across many different childcare settings over the last 10 years. This includes schools (primary and secondary), nurseries, holiday and respite childcare and as a nanny and babysitter. I feel that being a nanny would allow me to build strong and enduring bonds with the children in my care and this is one of the reasons I have decided to become a nanny. I have nannied for over 4 years, working with/looking after ages 4 months to 11 years.
