About Me
Hi, My name is Katarina Stark, but kids and parents call me Kat. I have had a passion for childcare and education since I was old enough to take my first babysitting course at (age 12). I have an Associate level degree in child education and one year of work experience in a German Montessori Kindergarten. I am currently working towards a bachelor's in Education.
I have a real love for the outdoors, even in the Scotland rain. I am from Seattle, Washington, U.S. so I am well used to it. My other favorite activities are sailing, climbing, skiing, camping, hiking, and traveling. I am proud to be a fluent German speaker, having grown up traveling Europe with my German passport. I look forward to enjoying and teaching some of my favorite activities and language with the families I am fortunate to spend time with.

My Experience
Associate's degree in Childhood education and development from Whatcom Community College, ( Bellingham, Washington).
One year of work experience in German Montessori kindergarten as a teacher's assistant. My duties included creating a classroom atmosphere for safe learning, mindful play activities, outdoor play, circle time learning, and child cooking.
I have been first aid certified and infant CPR certified but I will have to renew.
I also have over 10 years of experience with babysitting and nannying children ages six months - 12 years old.
Along with nannying, I have taught ski racing to children 6-16 for 4 years.
