About Me
I have been working in the childcare profession for the last 25 years, I was previously worked with children who have special educational needs and then 6 years ago I decided to take the plunge and run my own childminding business and it was the best decision I have ever made. I have a purpose-built Childminding room which is furnished to a very high standard and provides children with plenty of resources to help with their daily learning and development. In my garden, there is plenty of space for children to run around, and explore their natural environment whilst developing all their physical skills such as climbing, balancing, running, jumping, hopping etc. I have chickens in a chicken coup, which the children love collecting fresh eggs from that we then either boil, scramble or use in baking.
My setting is running very successfully and I have so much positive feedback from my parents and children that attend. I have undergone a recent Ofsted inspection and I can happily say I was awarded OUTSTANDING. I am very passionate about my job and that clearly shows in the way my setting runs so smoothly and through the children and parents that use my service as they are happy, children settled in quickly and develop and reach milestones through experiences provided for them. The children then go on to do amazing at school!
My Experience
I have vast amounts of experience of working with children from 0-12 and I particularly like working with the younger children, that’s why I became a childminder.
My Qualifications
Early years and education level 3, Dip HE in playwork, SEND, promoting positive behaviour, Autism awareness, Food Hygiene, Safeguarding in all areas health and wellbeing. Recently awarded a GOLd in Healthy Foundations- Quality Assurance Scheme. I am currently studying Leadership and management at Sheffield Hallam University in my spare time.
My Availability
I am available all year around and occasional weekends for emergency childcare.

- Babysitting from £12.50 per hour
£50 per day ( includes all meal and snacks)
