Nanny to my kids for 10 years!

If like me you work long hours and need to know you leave your kids with someone you can trust entirely - Melanie is someone you should definitely consider For kids from newborns to pre-teens.

Super smart, multilingual, well-read, technology savvy, passionate about childcare and education she is fully committed to the kids that she cares for. Kids love her as she is very attuned to their likes, and adapts her approach to each of them. With 3 boys with very different personalities I can say that!

Mélanie is also someone who has been living in London for many years and knows South West London super well including all the fun and éducative things to do with kids of all ages. Over the course of 10 years she has taken the boys to baby music classes, toddler play groups, city farms, zoos, museums of all kind, fun fairs, markets, swimming pools, Chinatown, Brighton!...

A bonus for busy parents, Melanie is a great cook as well and your kids will discover all kinds of veggies, fruits, spices, and recipes adapted to their palates from around the world!

Most wonderful, caring and reliable nanny

Mel has been a nanny for our baby girl from only a few weeks of age. Mel started during the first weeks partly as a mother's help, and because of her fantastic care of our baby girl, I was able to go back to work after 3 months with confidence that I left our baby in the best hands. I cannot recommend Mel highly enough. Our life as a family of two busy working parents would not have been possible without her.

Mel is reliable, flexible and easy to communicate with. Her intelligence and background in linguistics and early years education certainly sets her apart from other nannies. From the first conversation onwards, we felt that she really enjoys her job and truly loves the children she cares for. Our baby girl loves her, and Mel is greeted with a big smile every morning.

Mel is nurturing, fun-loving, and is able to provide age-appropriate discipline. She is able to stimulate the development of a child with lots of fun activities and is always looking out for the perfect trip out to match the interests of child at the moment. In the first weeks, Mel has facilitated our first steps as parents - she helped us to look after a small baby, and did household chores as well as cooking some meals. Also now that she is in full charge of our baby girl during the day, she is able to efficiently fit small household tasks like loading/emptying the dishwasher and tidying the baby's room into her day. Mel has a great knowledge of activities in the area, and also loved to research for exciting new things to take our baby girl to. Mel has helped us to improve our baby's sleeping habits. I chose to continue feeding our baby girl with expressed breastmilk for the first few months at work, and Mel was open and supportive to help me with this. When introducing solids, Mel has been really talented in introducing our baby girl to different flavours, and her cooking skills and creative ideas for tasty baby purees are fantastic.

Our baby girl has evolved to a cheerful, social and confident almost-toddler, and Mel has played an important role herein. Friends and family are always very positive about Mel. Her interaction with children is wonderful - patient, enthusiastic, positive and strict when needed. She is always focused on the child(ren) under her care and exceptionally committed to her job as a nanny.
