About Me
Hello I am an Ofsted registered childminder in Redhill with availability for wrap around and AHOC care to children going to Earlswood infant, junior and nursery schools.
I have 5 children of my own age ranging from 5 years to 19years old.
I have twin boys who have autism and severe learning difficulties and been their sole carer for many years.
I have experience with dealing with challenging behaviours and difficult situations along the way.
I live with my wonderful husband and our dog, in a house with a large garden and feel rather privileged of this.
My Experience
I have been a childminder for 5 years looking after children from 6 months old to school age, I am a mother to 5 children and I also have 4 step children who live with me. I am very hands on and do all the care.
Previous Work experience has been in young Epilepsy College supporting teenagers with severe learning difficulties and epilepsy with daily living tasks and educational tasks.
I have worked in numerous care homes with people with autism and severe learning difficulties support the service users with everyday living tasks and improving their mobility and allowing them to do activities they may not be able to do before hand.

AoFAQ Level 3 award Paediatric First Aid
CHIP Introduction to childminding
NCFE CACHE Level 3 award in preparing to work in home based childcare

Level 2 food safety and Hygiene for early years settings

Emma was so accommodating and understanding of our urgent need of a Nanny Service. She welcomed us with an open arms to keep our son last minute. Also her setting is clean and up to standard to accommodate children. Thank you again Emma!
