Welcome to Andi’s Childminding!
Andi’s Childminding is a homebased childcare setting run by me - Andi Nyerges, BEc (HONS) - and by my husband Daniel Nyerges, BA (HONS). We got married in 2018 and always wanted to work together and create something new in children’s life. Our aim is to provide a safe, warm and loving environment childminding, in which children can develop vital skill through fun activities.
I have more than 10 years experience with children in different ages. I have Level 6 Early Years Professional degree. I am a warm, smiley, energetic person. I love to see children open their wings in the beginning of their life. I enjoy supporting them in exploring the world, show them new skills, which will become a great source for their entire life. As a young but experienced practitioner, I always feel responsible for children, but love to hear them laugh, have fun together, and gain new skills through new experiences, without noticing the pressure of learning.
We are providing a high level of childcare service in a loving home atmosphere to give the appropriate support for children future success. The cornerstone of my childminding is the Montessori approach which is a method of education based on self-directed activity, hands-on learning and collaborative play. In a child’s life there is a period of time up until they are 6 years old when they can learn effortlessly.
We recognise the multi-cultural, multi faith and ever-changing nature of the United Kingdom therefore we promote the British Values in our setting. British values are democracy; the rule of law; individual liberty; mutual respect and tolerance of those of different faiths and beliefs.
In our childminding we care for children age of between 1-5 years. To ensure a personalised and individual approach we will only have 9 children at a time. We have a well-equipped garden which encourage children to explore and be at one with nature.
To ensure the children are safe in my setting we carry out risk assessment around the whole setting. I keep records on accident, incident, medicine and visitors.
We provide 15 hours free childcare!
My Experience
I have been working with children for 10 years in two countries. I have experience with children from 6 months to 7 years old.
