Hi! I’m Elia, I am 21 years old and currently a third year student at the University of Portsmouth. I’m fit and active, regularly going to the gym and playing rugby so I’m able to keep up with energetic kids! At the weekends I coach rugby tots, ranging from ages 2-7 years old. During the week I work as a cover supervisor in schools in the Hampshire area on an adhoc basis. I occasionally work bank shifts as a carer for a client with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
My Experience
I have babysat for different families throughout the years. I also have experience in babysitting my own cousins (ranging from 1.5 years old to 4 years old). I pick them up from school, give them their dinner, and do the bath/night time routine. I have been on two mission trips where I worked closely with children from the ages of 3 up to 16. This consisted of playing with them, keeping them busy and helping with lunch time.
My Qualifications
I have a DBS for my position as lead coach of rugby tots as well as a DBS for working in secondary schools as a cover supervisor.
My Availability
As I am a student, I have some lectures throughout the week which affects my availability at certain times. I coach on Saturdays and Sundays from 8.45am-11.15am.
