About Me

Hi! I’m marly, and being a nanny isn’t just a job for me it’s a true passion. I love caring for children and watching them grow into their own unique little personalities. With over 11 years of experience, I bring a mix of warmth, fun, and structure to every family I work with.

I’m an active, social, and bubbly person who wears my heart on my sleeve. I believe in creating a balance between fun and discipline, ensuring that kids not only have a great time but also learn important life skills along the way. Whether it’s organizing cupboards, doing laundry for the entire family, or making sure everything is clean and tidy, I treat your home as if it were my own.

In addition to my nannying duties, I have experience working as a Personal Assistant for some of the families I’ve worked with, handling tasks like online shopping, dry cleaning, and housekeeping. I take pride in staying organized and on top of things, from ensuring kids have their clothes ironed for the week to making sure toys are clean and cupboards are tidy.

I was trained by a maternity nurse when I first started part-time nannying, which equipped me with skills like sleep training and weaning. I’m the kind of nanny who doesn’t just stand around I’m right there with the kids, playing and helping them develop their social skills.

I’m also a non-smoker, and I don’t drink alcohol, coffee, or tea just soft drinks for me! I’ve held a full driving license for over 12 years and have my own car, so I’m a confident driver. Although I’ve always lived in London, I did spend some time outside the city during lockdown to start my own family, but now we’re back in London.

Whether it’s keeping your home organized, engaging your children in creative activities, or simply providing a safe and loving environment, I’m here to help your family in every way I can. Plus, as a fellow mum, I’m more than happy to help with night nanny duties if needed.

My Experience

Over the years, I’ve gained extensive experience in various aspects of childcare, including:

•Potty Training: Guiding little ones through this important milestone with patience and encouragement.
•Nappy Changing: Ensuring that infants are always comfortable and clean.
•Bottle Feeding: Feeding infants with care, following routines, and ensuring they get the nourishment they need.
•Sleep Training: Helping babies and toddlers develop healthy sleep habits for restful nights.
•Bathing and Self-Care: Bathing children and teaching them how to wash themselves, fostering independence.
•Weaning and Feeding: Introducing solid foods, teaching children to hold a spoon, and encouraging healthy eating habits.
•Homework Help: Supporting children with reading, writing, and learning activities, starting as early as 2.5 years old. I focus on helping them recognize objects, colors, and numbers.
•Promoting Independence: Teaching kids to clean up after themselves and take on small responsibilities, which helps build their confidence and independence.
•Household Duties: Keeping the home organized by tidying toys, handling laundry for the whole family, running the dishwasher, and general housekeeping.
•Personal Assistant Tasks: Managing shopping, paperwork, holiday planning, and ensuring your household runs smoothly.
•Healthy Meal Preparation: Planning and preparing nutritious meals that the whole family can enjoy.

My approach is all about balancing fun and learning while ensuring your children feel safe, loved, and supported. With a focus on developing independence and essential life skills, I’m here to make sure your children grow up happy, healthy, and confident.
