Hiya my name is Megan, I am 24 years old and have over 6 years experience in childcare. I love the outdoors, travelling and crafting. I have a passion for working with children and it is what I have wanted to do my whole life, as it is the most rewarding career. My Experience
Since leaving school at a young age, I threw myself straight into college and completed my NC and HNC in childhood practice. During the course I attended placement every week in several different nurseries working with children aged 0-5 years. When leaving college I got a job with the travel company TUI and worked as a kids rep in a family resort in Cyprus over summer, where I worked in kids clubs and customer service. My next job was within a private nursery in dumbarton where I worked with 2-3 year olds. I worked here for 8 months full-time. Since then I have worked in several local authority nursery settings as an early learning and childcare officer. I have experience babysitting with several families and children of all ages.
My Qualifications
I have a NC and HNC childhood practice qualification, paediatric first aid certificate, NSPCC training, child protection training, and I left school with higher business management, National 5 English, national 5 biology and national 5 maths.
My Availability
I am available all evenings on weekdays and both Saturday and Sunday all day.
