My Experience
I have worked as a full time live in nanny for two busy parents with two children (a boy and a girl) aged 8 and 10 when I started, who have both gone off to boarding school now. I worked 6:30am-7pm with a break during the day in term time, this also included some PA and housekeeping duties. I was responsible for making sure the kids were happy and healthy at all times, I would cook for them, do their laundry, run family errands (e.g., collect dry cleaning, take the car to a garage etc.), daily dog walking, monitoring school uniforms, ordering food shopping, keeping the house tidy from day to day, organising cupboards, taking to and from school, to after school clubs, planning fun holiday activities and playdates, booking and taking to appointments and much more.
Before that I also worked as a live in nanny for a period of 4 months to cover maternity leave in early 2019 for 2 children, aged 9 and 11. My responsibilities included school pick up and drop off, after school clubs, cooking dinner, homework help and a full weekly clean.
Most recently I also did around a month au pairing in Spain for two children aged 2 and 6. I collected them from school and kept them entertained until the parents were home, going to the park, playing games etc.. I also did some light housekeeping around the house.
My Qualifications
DBS check
12 hour paediatric first aid certification
Level 1 award in coaching tennis
Full UK driving license
8 GCSEs (A-C grade)
My Availability
Preferably looking for part or full time work as a nanny but open to other roles. Hours ranging from early morning to early evening.
