About Me
Hello,
My name is Stella founder of Bright beginning childcare.
I offer mornings or afternoon sessions, child pick off and drop off at school and daily spaces during the holidays. I also accept valid codes for the 15hours/30hours childcare for 2, 3 & 4 years old.
I have a newly renovated setting that consist of various fun and mind stimulating toys, books, and a spacious outdoor area with outdoor equipment and mud kitchen. You are welcome to come and view my homely setting with your child.
I provide meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner or light healthy snacks with fruits) at an additional cost. Parents are welcome to provide their own food. My services includes, pick up from home and drop off to home on request.
Children in my care during the school holidays will benefit from visits to local playgroups, the library, various parks around Thamesmead/abbey wood, and after school centres for outdoor activities where children enjoy different educational games/activities. I also provide opportunities to plan trips with or without parents to go to the beach (sheerness), Greenwich maritime museum, London zoo etc. I like to plan activities differentiated to the individuals in my setting. This includes painting, crafting, cooking.
My Experience
I am an ofsted registered childminder based in Greenwich, Thamesmead. I am also a qualified Early years educator having worked with children both in early years and the primary school age. I have almost 20 years of childcare experiences providing comprehensive and holistic care. I am very passionate about child development and learning. I like to create an environment where every child can freely learn and express themselves. In addition to my qualification, I also have Diploma in Child Psychology.
I have experience working with children with SEN (autism and ADHD), a first aid certificate and I am DBS checked.
Before registering as a childminder I worked as a Nursery manager for 3 years. During my childminding journey I have worked as staff in primary schools (Windrush, Hawksmoor and others) to build up my expertise.
My Qualifications
1. NNEB ( Diploma Nursery Nurse)
2. Diploma Child Psychology
3. First aid trained
4. SEN ( Special Education Need)
My Availability
My setting opening hours is Monday - Friday | 7am - 7pm | but I can open earlier or finish late with well in advance notice. It is a homely setting with a great indoor and outdoor play area, with lots of fun activities and games for children to keep them engaged throughout their stay.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
Daily rates
A Full day of six hours or under £8/h, or above six hours £7.50. 10 hours £6.50/h
Weekly rate
Full time childcare Mon to Fri, 40 hours or more per child is £6.50/h. Weekly payments in advance.
Additional fees:
Pick up from home and drop off at home is £7.50 (two way journey per day). I have a full driving licence and a 7 seater hybrid car. This is also available as an additional fee to school run that will include pick up from home then drop off at school and pick up from school then drop off at home.
Breakfast - 50p
lunch - £2.50
tea - £1.50
Fruits and beverages are provided free as an extra.

I had the opportunity to chat with Stella when I was sourcing for placements for my kids. Stella demonstrated insight and vast experience within this field. Her provision is well equipped and will benefit young ones! I will recommend Stella as my kids warmed up to her immediately on our first visit.

This provision goes above and beyond for the needs of the child. Communication is excellent and service is really the best. My daughter will miss you as you made her feel Unique and helped her development massively

Stella has helped me out so much with before & after school hourss care for my child. She provides meals for after school, homework & reading done too. My son feels very comfortable going to Stellas & I really recommend her as a childminder.
