I am a dedicated caring, creative nanny, who always puts childrens' safety and well being first.
I am a 48 years old mum of three boys living in Orpington.
I am British with South East Asian Heritage. I grew up in Angel- Islington.
I have over 30 years experience in working with the early years. I am a NNEB qualified nursery nurse. I have my DBS, and resently updated First Aid . I am also trained in safe guarding and SEN.
I have a good understanding of the EYFS. from my experience of teaching at Pre-school.
I am have written and verbal references available from all my previous families and from Pre- school.
I also have a CV available.
I volunteer with my Cavapoo dog as he is a certified therapy dog. We visit schools to do dog therapy and dog safety talks . We are also part of the Read2Dogs scheme.
I am open to part time or full time. Finding the right family is more important to me.
My Experience
I am the eldest child from a large family. Child development and early years education has always been my passion. I have a NNEB diploma in nursery nursing. I trained in schools, preschools, day nursery's and The Portland hospital.
I worked as a full time nanny in London- Islington as soon as I was qualified for 16 years, before having my own three children.
When my children started school I worked in pre - schools. A Montessori pre-school and EYFS pre-school.
I believe in child led, play based learning, with the use of books, songs and rhymes and art and craft in my work, whilst following the 7 areas of learning EYFS framework.
I also believe in supporting independence and confidence through Montessori practical life skills.
I am confident in baby sign / makaton. I am a social nanny that likes to go to play groups and parks in all weather!
I love to cook and understand the importance of nutritional food for children.

GCSEs Maths, English Literature, English Language and Art.

My Availability
I am ideally looking for a part time position. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday but would consider full time.
