Hi, my name is Debora. I'm outgoing, chatty and a fan of the arts. I BA Spanish Literature graduate from the University of Oxford. I speak four languages (English, Russian, French and Spanish). I’m very interested in other cultures and when I’m able to I take every opportunity to travel and meet new people!
My Experience
In terms of working with children I am very experienced - I have been a full time au pair for three children, spending five months in France. It has made me very capable at fostering a close relationship with children and working closely with parents to create an individual tutoring experience for every child.
Additionally I spent two years volunteering at a local primary school. This gives me the unique ability to help children with their studies and being able to present information in a relatable way for children of multiple ages (I have helped children as young as 6 with various levels of learning ability in class).
I find tutoring incredibly rewarding as I believe that every child can reach their best academic potential with the right approach. Having taken a gap year and gone through two rounds of university applications I am also very experienced with the university admissions process. I am able to help develop personal statements and prepare children for Oxbridge interviews.
My Qualifications
In 2018 I completed four A-Levels (French, Spanish, Russian and History), obtaining the grades of A*AAB and so can confidently tutor in those subjects. I am also DBS checked due to my previous experience in childcare and I am PVG certified as I have previously worked as a tutor.
