About Me
TinyTalkers is our early years childminding provision from my home address. We are two childminders that work together to deliver a challenging and high quality curriculum that inspires a love of life long learning. Our ethos of early years education places the child at the center of everything we do. From the carefully planned continuous provision to daily routines and the lines of enquiry that we pursue. We encompass multiple early years approaches including focusses on open ended resources, a curiosity approach, forest school provision and a communication rich environment. We are predominantly an outdoor setting with a fantastic outdoor classroom at my home. We deliver half termly planning that is centered around high quality texts that encourage the children to develop an understanding of the world around them and build upon their existing knowledge with a wide range of experiences.
About me.... I am an experienced and qualified teacher specialising in early years education. I have experience of teaching 2-8 year olds in school as well as leading a baby room in a nursery, working as a family support worker to deliver parenting courses particularly with focus on communication and language for young children. Most recently I have worked as a moderator of early years profile data in North Yorkshire schools in addition to leading the early years department in a school with a nursery and reception / year one class.
My husband and I have three children. Since having our third I have become an Ofsted registered childminder and early years consultant through the company TinyTalkers. Tiny Talkers provides resources and training for both early years practitioners and parents that promotes babies and toddlers communication and language.

My Experience
I have a wide range of experience of working with children in a number of settings.
As stated above I have led the teaching in a baby room at a nursery, worked with families and parents as a family outreach worker and taught children 2-8 years old in primary schools as a qualified teacher. I have an early years specialism through my studies and I have worked as an early years profile moderator for North Yorkshire.
I have experience of working with children with SEND and am passionate about enabling equal opportunities for all children.
My Qualifications
I am a qualified teacher with a degree and early years professional status in young children’s learning and development.
I understand the importance of professional development and as a result I regularly attend courses that focus on specific knowledge or skills I want to develop.
My Availability
The setting is open 46 weeks of the year, Monday to Friday from 7:30 - 17:30.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.50 per hour
- Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
£55 daily fee
This includes homecooked meals and snacks as well as all outings and trips.
