The Best Decision We Made For Our Daughter

Undoubtedly THE BEST decision we made for our daughter's care. The compassionate, attentive, flexible and reliable care given has left our daughter thriving academically and socially. This led to her being accepted in our first choice school for her. We were in tears on her last day at Pollywogs before she started school because the staff became family to us. We have already recommended friends to the daycare who have also had the best experience. Thank you so much for EVERYTHING Marina & Pollywogs especially for your amazing care. We will definitely see you on half term holidays and we are forever grateful.

Highly recommend Malina

Malina is passionate about giving kids the best start. Our son progressed a lot after being in her care. Due to the small group size, he was able to get more individual attention. Malina is caring and quite motherly so I felt satisfied whenever I left him with her. Her setting has a homely feel so he settled quickly and looked forward to going to there because he felt comfortable. If we didn't move abroad, he would still be at Pollywogs.

Simply wonderful

Malina is a terrific and rare childminder that runs her childminding setting with the highest professionalism and is always open to questions and parental communication.
In her cosy setting, children are exposed to an enriching curriculum and diverse, educational content. The play time spent together is done with emphasis on social principles of sharing, helping and respecting one another. Additionally, the frequent interactions are based on a rich verbal example-setting which we feel enriches children’s vocabulary acquisition.
Importantly, we feel Malina is very composed as well as compassionate person, which radiates a sense security and trust so very important for the little ones. The entire setting is run in a balance of calm and stimulating manner, which we feel is instrumental for the wellbeing and development of the children.
Another noteworthy aspect is the freshly cooked daily food, and the high standard for hygiene and sickness-prevention among children.
Malina takes care of our 1.5 yo son full time, and our 6 yo (autistic) son after school. Malina adapts unique approaches to our very different boys, and their time in her setting is spent meaningfully.
We feel very fortunate to have our boys go to Malina’s setting, and can leave them there with a calm heart and go about our day. Which is a huge deal. We whole-heartedly recommend her.

Wonderful service and great experience!

Malina is the best childminder we could have ever chosen for our 17-month-old daughter. She is being there for the last 4 months and she has improved a lot her skills in walking, playing and interacting with other children. Malina treats all the kids with great care and attention and my daughter feels home when she goes there. Malina has an effective routine and finds the time to discuss about the progress and plan of every child at the end of every term. Very professional and flexible, promoting an all-inclusive learning environment. We are very satisfied. Highly recommended!

Highly Recommended

Malina is a professional and caring childminder. She provides a large variety of activities & toys, focused learning (Montessori method) and has a lovely big garden for the children to use. She creates a fun and educational environment and is attentive to development opportunities which she documents and emails on a weekly basis. She also provides a more detailed “forward plan” at the end of the term, with input from parents, describing the childs development.

We really like that Malina provides responsive childcare, she is led by the children rather than making the children fit into a set routine. Also, it was key for us that our child had the opportunity to learn in lots of different ways - artwork, outside play, messy play, singing, reading, dancing, physical activities and focused learning too and NO TV time (this was an important criteria for us).

Initially our daughter (21 months old) was upset when i used to drop her off and leave but Malina was very loving and reassuring towards her and ensured she was happy and settled. The daily notes and pictures we receive - how our child has eaten (home cooked food), the different activities she has taken part in, how her language is developing and how she has behaved throughout the day - has also given us confidence our child is well looked after and happy. Our daughter is now super excited to go to Malina’s house every morning, which is a great success!

Malina also, encourages good manners, social skills and suggests activities to help further support, our daughter at home which we find very helpful.

It really is one of the best decisions we have made and we would highly recommend Malina.
