My Summary
About Me
My name is Eva Patricia Yepes, and I am a British-Colombian childminder with over 23 years of experience. I live in London with my Italian husband and my son. Together we embrace a rich multicultural lifestyle. I speak both English and Spanish and basic Italian, and I love encouraging children to explore different cultures and develop language skills in a fun and natural way.
I am the CEO of TatyFun, my childminder service, which I built with a deep commitment to providing high-quality, loving, and personalized care for children.
I also have extensive experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN) and autism.
At TATYFUN, we apply the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, focusing on three key areas: Protection, Nurture, and Education for children aged 0 months to 3 years.
TatyFun offers government-funded places available for eligible children:
• 15 hours 2 year olds (eligible families in receipt of government support).
• 15 hours 2 year olds (eligible working.parents).
• 15 hours 3 & 4 year olds (all children).
• 30 hours 3 & 4 year olds (eligible working parents).
Healthy Nutrition for Children
Good nutrition is essential for children’s growth, development, and overall well-being. By introducing a variety of healthy foods from an early age, children can develop a positive relationship with food and build lifelong healthy habits.
Key Focus Areas
• Introducing Solid Foods: Start from 6 months with pureed vegetables and fruits, gradually expanding to different textures and food groups.
• Balanced Diet: Follow the four main food groups: starchy carbohydrates, fruits and vegetables, proteins, and dairy or plant-based alternatives. Use the “5-4-3-2” guide:
• 5 portions of fruits/vegetables
• 4 portions of carbohydrates
• 3 portions of dairy
• 2 portions of protein
• Menu Planning: Plan balanced weekly menus with varied foods, flavors, and textures. Limit foods high in sugar, salt, and saturated fat, and prioritize water and milk as drinks.
Food Activities
Fun cooking activities help children build confidence, learn new skills, and develop curiosity about food and different cultures. Ideas include:
• Making bread
• Exploring exotic fruits
• Growing herbs

Our Commitment to Protect and Safeguarding
At TATYFUN, our primary commitment is to protect children and ensure their safety at all times. Safeguarding is at the core of everything we do, focusing on creating a secure, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) establishes the foundation of safeguarding measures for early years providers to follow. These measures are guided by four overarching principles, including:
• Children learn and develop best in an enabling environment.
Safeguarding and child protection in the Early Years includes:
• Acting in the best interests of the child in all decisions.
• Ensuring no discrimination, promoting equal opportunities for all.
• Supporting life survival and development, meeting each child’s basic needs.
• Respecting and valuing children’s views and giving them a voice.
• Ensuring the protection of privacy for every child.
• Providing care and access for children with disabilities.
• Creating a healthy environment with access to clean water, nutritious food, and safe spaces.
• Conducting regular reviews of each child’s placement to ensure their well-being and progress.
At TATYFUN, we are dedicated to ensuring that every child feels protected, valued, and supported, helping them grow and learn in a safe and stimulating environment. Support your child’s health, safety, and development journey with us!
We would love to support your child’s development in a warm, nurturing, and culturally enriching environment!
My Experience
I have 23 years experience teaching and caring for children. My slogan is "PROTECT, NURTURE AND EDUCATE IS MY COMMITMENT.
I work and care for small groups of children under 3 years old; this allows me to offer individual care and consider all requirements for each child.
I work in close partnership with parents in implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework. I also apply the Jolly Phonics method for teaching the letter’s sound in a way that is fun learning. Children learn how to use the letters sounds, to read and write words.
I provide individual plan and Progress Check for Babies and Toddlers, focusing on the areas of learning: Personal, social, and emotional development, Physical development, Communication and Language, Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World and Expressive arts and Design.
I have a well-structured routine with a timetable that also include going out daily to the park or library as well as the local museums.
My home is very warm and caring environment for all children. I provide a good variety of fresh food with nutritious balance.
I love to include all parents in occasional events such as Christmas party, summer picnic, Easter and celebrate cultural and religious festivals.
TatyFun is proud to be an equal opportunities learning environment.
