About Me
Hi my name is Anna, I live in Peel Green with my husband and 4 children.
I offer a home from home, safe, secure, loving environment for children to learn and grow in. I enjoy long walks, days out and being creative. I pride myself in being well organised and I am always trying to be the best that I can be. Days in my setting include, attending forest school (term time only), trips out to local museums, theatres, playgroups, libraries, messy play, outdoor play, cooking, music and dancing, role play, reading, crafts, phonics and number play. I have a designated children's play room, a cosy sitting room and a secure large outdoor/garden area for lots of outdoor fun.
Healthy eating plays a big role in my setting and I offer homemade meals, as well as lots of fruit/snacks throughout the day.
Apart from my children, my biggest achievement in life was when i was given the opportunity twice to travel to Romania and provide aid work in the gypsy villages.
I absolutely love being a childminder and being able to help little people grow through giving them lots of new experiences.
My Experience
After struggling myself with finding suitable childcare over the years, I decided I would take the leap and become a childminder myself. I have always had a passion in helping others and seeing them grow and develop into unique individuals.
I have a lot of experience in looking after children. As well as having lots of children walk through my door of all ages through this role, i have 3 nieces and have looked after my friends children over the past 20 years. I also have 4 children of my own. Varying from ages 2 years - 17 years. I am continually updating and growing my knowledge and training by attending regular training courses put on by the council and also access a lot of online training.

My Qualifications
Starting Life Well Preparation for Registration Training, Channel General Awareness Module, Health and Safety Level 2, Food Hygiene Level 2, Child Protection, Paediatric First Aid, Promoting British Values in Early Years, A Practical Guide to the GDPR for Education Level 2. Aswel as many others.
My Availability
My opening hours are Monday to Friday 7.30am until 5.30pm although I will try and be flexible to everyone's needs. Extra fees may apply if outside of working hours. Places available from August 2025.

£45 per day (includes all meals, snacks, outings, nappies and wet wipes)
