I'm 26 years old. I have experience looking after new borns and children up to the age of 18. As well as loving creativity I have always been sporty and over the years have dabbled in athletics, netball, basketball, football and hockey. I love music and play the cello and piano. Growing up with two younger twin sisters I used to help them with school work and play with them. I'd take them to the park, bake with them do arts and crafts and cook them meals. Since then, I have had many years of experience in nannying roles. I am from a big family and grew up as one of six kids and growing up, my mother dealt with severe mental health illness, so I have experience dealing with the pressures that this brings on the mother and the family. I hold an up to date DBS check.
My Experience
Over the last five years, I've nannied for children aged 1-18yrs, which has involved making dinner, helping with homework, playing, bathing, reading, and putting to bed. I have also worked in primary and secondary schools, in both teaching and pastoral roles. I have also done one-to-one tuition for students outside of school, up to GCSE level, including exam preparation. I have volunteered as a rainbow's girl guiding leader (age 5-7) for six months, where I organised and led activities and looked after the children. My passion for caring for children began when my mother had a set of twins when I was eight and I absolutely loved helping to after them, which included changing nappies, dressing, feeding, putting to bed, playing, taking them to the park, helping them with homework, making dinner and doing arts and crafts with them.
