About Me
I am a registered associate nutritionist with a master degree in human physiology. I was born and raised in Rome, but have been in the UK for 8 years.
I fully support gentle parenting and focus very much on the child's feelings. I am extremely patient and calm, but also firm and confident if necessary, for example, if the child puts himself in danger. For me, there is no naughty child! Just many children who need their emotions to be more acknowledged and understood. I have amazing bonds with all the families I worked with, and many references that I am more than happy to share.
I often simply observe the child for the first few hours/days. I show them that I respect their boundaries and that I am there and I am paying attention to them. Normally, they will be the ones to begin to involve me in their activities. I really like to leave them the liberty to decide when they are ready to interact with me. Some children need some encouragement with this while others cannot wait to tell me everything they do or have from the moment we meet! It very much depends on age and character. Having much experience, it is easy for me to quickly pick this up and adapt to the child's energy.
I have a full, clean driving licence, and I am happy to help with pick up and drop offs if you can provide a car seat where needed.
My Experience
I have 6-7 years of experience as a baby sitter with children between 1 and 13 years old, 7 years of experience as a tutor and 2 as a bilingual nanny.
My Qualifications
Italian Diploma (equivalent to Alevel) score 82%, specialized in human sciences including pedagogy, IELTS certificate score C1 (C2= mother tongue), Advanced BDS, BLS-D, AS and A-level in sciences, Food hygiene level 2, BSc (Hons) Nutrition, 1st class, MSc Human Physiology, 1st class.
My Availability
I am currently working freelance as a tutor, looking for an opportunity in my field, so my schedule is super flexible. I am available most days and nights with enough notice, and I am happy to do pick ups and drop offs both before and after school.

Beatrice accepted my sit request the night before, on such short notice. After a short phone call introduction, she was on time and ready to care for my 2 boys (3 and 1). Thank you soooo much for that again!!
She expressed a ton of knowledge and experience with working with children. Offering some great advice along the way.
Easy to talk to and get a long with and my boys loved every bit of the 2 sits we had. Very trust worthy and highly recommendable.

We are very happy with Beatrice. Our baby loved her from day one. she is a lovely girl you can trust. In addition, it has been a plus for us that she studies nutrition, our son is allergic and we have been calm that she would understand what she can and cannot eat. She has helped our baby a lot to be much more social. We want to continue counting on her whenever she can

Beatrice is a very friendly, sweet and pleasant young woman, she is gentle, attentive and interested in my daughter. She is studying dietetics and is a wealth of information about nutrition in addition. I can recommend her to any parent looking for childcare.
