About Me
Hi my name is Tara and I am registered childminder with OFSTED in the pudsey area.
I live close to Leeds and Bradford commuting routes as well as only being a short drive away from new pudsey train station. I live with my husband Jay (who knows all to well about the commute to Leeds city centre) and my two children.
Before becoming a childminder I was a health support worker for the NHS supporting adults with learning disabilities within the community for around 10 years.
I understand how important it is to find someone you trust to look after your child/children whilst you go back to work and how difficult it can be at first but I am hoping I can help put your mind at ease by offering your child/children a home from home environment which is fun,secure and stimulating.
Your child/children will have access to lots of toys,books,puzzles etc around my home as well as being able to enjoy spending time outside in our garden playing with the outdoor toys or helping to look after our veg patch!
I am a caring,professional person who believes it is important to work in partnership with famiies and other professionals.(this has been a big importance to me in my previous job and I believe it is something to be continued in my role as a registered childminder to ensure the best possible care is provided)
I will ensure children are kept active and stimulated throughout the day with a variety of activities which include baking, sand and water play, crafts as well as accessing the local community and venturing further out in holidays. I will follow EYFS framework and I have risk assessed my house accordingly.

My Experience
I have a number of years experience, from working with children in different settings whilst I obtained my level 3 childcare qualification to working with children on a one to one in a school and community setting. I also have the experience from being a ‘mummy’ for the last 9 years.
My Qualifications
I hold a CACHE Level 3 diploma in children care and education qualification as well as the following;
*pre registration training for Childminder’s in Leeds
*Level 3 diploma in health and social care
*learning disability award framework level 3
*safeguarding, prevent duty,food safety level 2 and administering medication entry level 3.
My Availability
I currently have availability for under 5’s as well as before and after school. Please contact me for further details.
