About Me
I am a childminder in the Stockton on Tees area, I have been married for twenty six years and have four children of my own, three are all grown up and live away from home, my youngest daughter will be leaving for uni this September.
I have been a childminder for 19 years and I provide a safe nurturing environment for children of all ages.
I have a purpose built micro nursery which includes a potty/toilet room, changing room, kitchen, large playroom with doors straight into the garden which offers resources suitable for children between newborn and thirteen years old.
I have experience with children with additional needs particularly children on the autistic spectrum and Down’s Syndrome, my playroom is easy to access into the garden for children who may be wheelchair users.
I offer early and evening care before 7am and after 5.30pm for NHS and healthcare staff at competitive rates.
I offer government funded places for children from 9 months to 4 years.
I also offer pick ups and drop offs for children whose parents don’t drive for a small daily fee.
I would like to assure parents that I take the Covid-19 Pandemic very seriously within my setting. I have a number of procedures in place both within the setting, on visits outdoors and childminder car use to keep us all as safe as possible. Please ask for a full copy of the my Covid-19 policy when you attend for your visit.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
Competitive fees with sibling discount available, please ask for a specific quote based on your needs. I charge by the day/half day, before and after school depending on the needs of the parent, evening rates are calculated dependent on hours.

If my child didn't have to start school I certainly would have preferred Julie to take care of him for ever , she was a godsend for him and for us...
I would choose her again blindfolded!!!

Julie has been one of a kind, she had looked after my son for the past 2 years while completing my nursing degree. My son adores Julie and loves the days she takes him to school. No request on hours is a problem and she is always able to accommodate my difficult schedule. Highly recommended, the quality of care and passion she has for her job is next level and I hope to contuine to have her as part of our lives for years to come.

I had just started university and needed to find a childminder which could accommodate to healthcare hours. When i thought id lost all chance of finding someone Julie was there. Right from the start my 2 kids first meeting her they all hit it off together. The kids were constantly beaming when they knew they were going to see her and when picked them up they had always had a great time. Julie hasnt just been a childminder she really had been like my fairy godmother without her i wouldnt have been able to complete my placements and get the job i have today in addition to when i was having low parent moods she helped me realise that i was doing great for the kids. She has helped the children grow and develop and been there to support them through the last crazy 3 years. She explains things to them in a way they understand and supports us all. I really dont know what i would have done without her.

Julie is the best childminder I have ever had. Julie has looked after my son now for many years, she is aware of his needs and I feel very confident leaving my son with her. Julie is kind caring and loving. Julie has gone above and beyond for me and has supported me through my son’s transition to secondary school where she will continue to take of my child. An amazing childminder who treats the children she looks after like her own

Julie is a wonderful childminder who looked after my two children for a couple of years. She was so good with them and my kids enjoyed going with Julie. I was absolutely gutted when we moved towns as I couldn't use Julie anymore. I would recommend Julie in a heart beat she is the best around.
