My Summary

My Experience

I have a psychology degree, and have always been interested in children's welfare, health and wellbeing.

Very little phases me when it comes to looking after kids. I treat them as if they were my own, especially when it comes to discipline /guiding them in the right direction (in an empowering way).

-I've been volunteering for Slough Mencap for the last 16 years, with adults with learning disabilities, so I have extensive special needs experience.

-I'm currently looking after a 9 year old autistic girl, every day after school for 2 hours (since the beginning of 2022). I prepare her a snack and engage with her in activities, reading and tuition, and I proactively encourage her social skills.

I've also completed a 12 week drawing and talking block of sessions with her, to help her to express difficulties that she was facing with her peers at school.

-I have worked as a Childminder assistant in Windsor; working with 11 children (babies and young children).
- I have an up to date DBS and I've been ofsted approved (hold an EY2).

-I have a paediatric first aid qualification
-I have attended a first aid training course for adults and children.

-I looked after 2 siblings, aged 9 y/o and 16 y/o in Windsor; both of whom had PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance).
-Looking after my niece and nephews
-Volunteering at mothers and toddlers

My Qualifications

I don't have any formal qualifications with regard to childcare, but I have gained a lot of first hand experience (as previously mentioned).

I have a Psychology BA degree, I teach karate to children as young as 5 years old, and I have also coached on several Leadership programmes for Landmark Worldwide in London, as well as being a trained listener. So, I feel that I'm able to effectively handle variety of situations and /or concerns that you may have about your child/children.

I am a confident individual who loves to be challenged and I see very little as overwhelming/unachievable. I'm flexible and am always happy to learn on the job. I don't profess to know it all and will happily admit when I don't know something /need help in understanding something.

My Availability

I am available for baby sitting /childcare on Monday and Friday evenings, and Saturdays and Sundays (if required).
I can also be available weekdays until 1:30pm (if required).

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

My fees reflect my experience, willingness, openness and reliability.


My babysitting rate is per child, and if babysitting plus household help is required, we can negotiate based on how much household help is required.
