About Me
I am a 47 year-old Teacher/Childcarer with considerable experience working with children since 2003.
I have a good understanding of children's needs, I can build great rapport with them, yet I know how to be firm with them if rules have to be followed. I greatly enjoy playing with them, reading stories to them and engage in various activities, both educational and fun. I have about 20 years of experience running my own household, including cooking and doing all kinds of housework. I am friendly, patient, reliable and cheerful.
I am registered with the DBS Update service so I can provide login details to check the up-to-date status of my DBS certificate. I registered with the service in 2018, that is when I obtained a hard copy of this certificate.
My Experience
I taught English in high schools in Hungary, I worked as a Supply Teacher in primary schools and nurseries in London and since 2018, I have been solely looking after children, ranging from toddlers through primary school children.

Governess to 3 children of the Ambassador of Bahrein
Helped with homework and made sure children spent their free time in a meaningful way.
April 2019-March 2020
Looking after a 13 month-old baby girl and her 4 year-old sister Mo-Fri 9-5/6 pm, from October 2019, Mondays and Fridays 9-5/6 pm.
Shool drop off and pickup. Taking the baby for walks, children's centre, singing group, playing with her, meal preparation, putting her down for naps. In the afternoons, also looking after the older sibling. Taking them for walks, on play dates, playing at home with them.
October 2019-March 2020
Looking after a 15 month old baby boy and his 4 year-old sister Tuesdays and Thursdays 8.30-6.30/7 pm.
School drop off and pickup. Taking the baby for walks, children's centre, playing with him, meal preparation, putting him down for naps. In the afternoons, also looking after the older sibling. Taking them for walks, on play dates, playing at home with them.
September 2020-March 2021
Looking after a 2.5 year-old girl 2 days a week 9-2 pm. Taking her for walks, children's centre, playing with her and preparing simple meals for her.

Looking after a Year 3 girl in the afternoon on Wednesdays. Homework help and engaging with her in fun and creative activities.
July 2022-January 2024
Looking after a 5 and 8 year-old child (siblings). I picked them up from school and took them to different after-school activities, then dropped them off at home. I prepared lunch for them at home and took it with me. At home, I assisted with their home work and played with them until the parents arrived back home.
