About Me
Hi I am Lynda. I am a parent and have been childminding 26 years old. I have been married 30years and we can deliver the 2,3,4yr olds funding. I have a full driving licence and my car is insured for business use. I am OFSTED Registered with 26years experience. I have been graded A high GOOD 2 In my OFSTED Inspection in 2016 We offer caring and loving home from home environment. I have one assistant who works within my setting. We attend weekly Carer/mother toddler groups, Soft Play centres and making the most of outside spaces such as local parks. I have lots of experience of working with new born babies. I have always enjoyed working with children of all ages. we provide a safe and happy enviroment for children to play and learn. I have a enclosed rear garden, with toys and grassed area for the children to play in. I am a member of the Pacey, Ripley Childminding Group and Langley Mill Childminding Group. Myself and my assistant's have upto date first aid certificate and DBS( police checks) Myself and my assistants also have my NVQ 3 Early Years Care and Education, British Sign Language Level 1. I am registered to accept childcare vouchers schemes . Using vouchers enables a parent to save costs of childcare. I am always happy to talk to parents about the childcare needs of their children and work along side parents / carers, to build a childcare package to suit your requirements for your child.
My Experience
I have been a childminder for 26 years, throughout these years I have worked with children of all ages and abilitys. I have experience of working with children who have ADHA, Behavioural issues, speech differculties and hearing impairment. I have helped within my local schools since having my NVQ 3. Doing this qualification has enabled me to learn more about childcare and different ways to teach children. I have applied this to my setting and has worked with children who have and have not got learning differculties. I am dedicated, hardworking and reliable.

My Fees
- Childminding from £3.80 per hour
My hourly rate is £3.60per hour
Before and After school rate is £3.60per hour, minimum is 2 hours care charged per child per night.
Fees are inclusive of food.
No hidden costs.
I am able to accept all childcare vouchers towards childcare costs.

As a new mum I was very anxious and scared to put my daughter into childcare. When I found Funhouse, I messaged Lynda and booked in to meet her and her assistant.
When you arrive to Funhouse, you are met with a beautiful house, that is safe, clean, homely, and happy. Children can’t lie, and when I first met Lynda it was a normal week day. Every child that Lynda and her assistant looked after were very happy, settled, comfortable, and content. It was lovely to see!
Lynda was and still is amazing, as well as her assistant. My daughter has developed so much since she has been at Funhouse (7 months old and now 17 months old)!
My daughter gets so excited she pretty much runs to the door, excited to see Lynda, her assistant and her friends.
Lynda ensures to keep you update on anything throughout the day, and it’s lovely to get photos whilst working of all the activities she gets up to.
My daughter has developed and grown up so much since she has been going to the Funhouse and I know that is down to Lynda and her assistant.

Lynda and the funhouse staff have cared for my daughter since she was just 3 months old.She is soon to turn 5 and we are moving on. Leaving Lynda's care will be emotional for all of us. The care provided has given the family environment I always wanted for her. I discovered Lynda through this site and once meeting her I knew it was best place for my daughter to be. My daughter has grown in confidence and has made some friends she'll be in touch with for many years to come. I would highly recommend the Funhouse to all parents who want a home environment for their child.

Lynda is a fantastic childminder. My son was only with her for a short time, but the care he ha received has been second to none. She is very caring, excellent with children, and obviously loved by all the children in her care, my son included. The environment is like a home from home, and my son is always telling me what fun things they have been doing. The 2 assistants are also very good.

My little daughter is now nearly 8 months old and has been in Lyndas care for the past 2 months. As she is my first child I was quite anxious to leave her with anyone I didn't know but after the first day already I spent no time at all worrying when she was with Lynda as I am sure she is in the best hands she can be. Lyndas house is very clean, she has toys for all ages, homecooks, and although she is looking after a few kids a day she still keeps my little one in der routine which is very important to me to make life easy for me and my baby girl. Lynda also keeps a diary for my daughter to keep me in the picture about nappies what she's been eating how long and when she slept and what she did in the day. She also takes all kids on daytrips which I love as it's lovely for them not to just stay in the house but also to go to parks, play centres, the zoo etc. All in all I am delighted to have found Lynda and couldn't wish for anyone better to be looking after my angel. Thank you Lynda.

My daughter is cared for by Lynda and her registered assistant and has been from being just a few weeks old. The quality of care she receives is second to none. My daughter is so happy to be there she practically jumps out of my arms into Lynda's. Lynda offers a clean and fun environment with a variety of activities both at her house and at other locations. Lynda always does her best to keep my daughter in her routine which enables a smooth transition from home to childminding and vice-versa. I would not hesitate in recommending this exceptional childminder to any of my mummy friends.
