My name is Hannah and I pride myself on being a fun loving mother and childminder here in Pettswood. I live with my husband Adam and we have two children ages 3 & 1. I am fortunate to work alongside my mother who is also a childminder and we work from my childhood home here in Pettswood, this enables us to be very flexible in helping parents with their childcare needs.

Mum and I find so much pleasure in being around children, helping them grow and become kind human beings. We offer a setting for parents wishing to send their child/ren to a home away from home environment and being situated a short walk from Pettswood High Street it enables parents to drop their child/ren before work. The children have the full run of the downstairs area, a large open plan living room which leads onto the conservatory and garden. The children enjoy playing in the garden, helping to plant our fruit and vegetables or playing with the abundance of toys in the summerhouse.

We incorporate every day learning for all ages into our daily activities, ie sensory arts and craft activities for different events throughout the year, spelling, counting, learning the seasons, days/months of the year, alphabet, colours etc. We also visit toddler groups throughout the week for the younger children, where we socialise with other children and their childminders. During the holidays we visit an array of different parks, farms, castles, soft play outlets and more.

I provide a service to drop and collect children from Crofton Infant & Junior School. Our setting is situated a short walk from Crofton School so we walk everyday. Weather dependant, I often socialise with other childminders, which allows the children time to play with their friends in the playground or at the local park before we return home for the evening.

I am Ofsted Registered, Paediatric First Aid Trained, CRB Checked, hold Public Liability Insurance and have a full Drivers Licence. I ask to be paid via bank transfer and offer 15 or 30 hours funding or child tax credits.

I work from 08.00am to 5.30pm Tuesday to Thursday.
