About Me
Hello everyone, my name is Alisha. I'm 31 years old and currently live in the West Midlands with my four wonderful children. Many people often ask why I chose to become a babysitter, especially with my own kids to care for. The truth is, I genuinely enjoy it, and it feels incredibly rewarding to support other families. Growing up in a large family myself, my partner and I are both accustomed to being surrounded by little ones.
I hold a paid membership on this platform, which means I’m fully insured and can access various CPD training opportunities. This also provides me with discounts for fun days out, perfect for creating memorable experiences with the children.
Babysitting has always been a part of my life, and my goal is to gain as much one-on-one experience as possible. This will not only enhance my portfolio for future opportunities in the care profession but also allow me to grow my knowledge and skills. I previously completed a work experience placement at a nursery, which I thoroughly enjoyed, and it solidified my desire to work in a care setting. I take my responsibilities very seriously and am proud to offer every child in my care a safe and enjoyable environment, complete with structured routines and activities that promote development. I would describe myself as caring, hardworking, trustworthy, reliable, and, most importantly, fun!
My Experience
I have previous unpaid work experience at a nursery where I cared for children aged 2 to 3 years. Additionally, I have 12 years of babysitting experience, which includes looking after children ranging from newborns to 13 years old. I also have some experience working with autistic children and those with special needs. However, a significant portion of my knowledge and experience comes from raising my own four children. Alisha started with us in Jan 2023 as our son turned 1yrs old. It was the first time we were leaving him with anyone outside the family but he settled with her very quickly, this was down to the way she interacted with him. She kept to his routine and made our boy feel comfortable which has helped with him now starting nursery. We would highly recommend Alisha and would like to thank her for everything she has done whilst she was with us for the last 9months.

Alisha has been fantastic from day one. My 15 month daughter bonded with Alisha straight away and Alisha knew what to do. Alisha is calm, nurturing and informative which gives me the confidence. Alisha does a great job in my daughter’s personal care, feeding, playtime, nap time, walks and visiting the ducks. Alisha’s time is orientated around my daughters routine. My daughter always has a good time with Alisha and I see how happy my daughter is. Alisha is great at communicating about my daughter or even her hours. Alisha is respectful towards my family members and my home.
